These three begin this week’s show with an update on what Sarah has been getting up to since the last time she was on the show which included her trip to Ireland, attending a Liam Gallagher gig and visiting the Conan O’Brien air pump! The trio share some exciting news from the 10th Annual Irish American Movie Hooley this September that includes the great Irish film ‘Kneecap’. Can somebody find a cute fighter girl for Billy please! The guys remember local comedic legend, Bob Newhart,  who passed away this week and the guys take a trip through his impressive career. Paddy even messaged him on Facebook once!

Bill declares his love of corn-fed beef on this week’s show and wants none of that healthy grass-fed crap! Irish vs. American food is a hot topic. ‘Mexican Squirt’ is Billy’s new nickname given to him by his future hot fighter girlfriend.. The assassination attempt on Trump’s life is huge news this week and these three delve into the craziness behind witnessing it on Live TV. The newest character this week is ‘Man on water slide without child’ based on Billy’s past weekend at the pool. Sarah’s ties to the MLB and the recent drunken version of the National Anthem sung by Ingrid Andress are covered in this week’s Sports Talk. How does Paddy feel about being called by his first name by the kids he coaches? What about the coaches who refer to the players as ‘son’?! Our sponsor, the Flood Brothers, had a car in the Nascar race in Chicago last week and the guys are very excited! How do we land Paddy a recurring role on The Bear?! Maybe Johnny Dorito can get his foot in the door! The lads ruminate on that for a while.. What kind of things give these guys anxiety? Certain kinds of camera work and a lack of money to name a few! The hilarious Chicago comedian Conner O’Malley is a hot topic this week and his latest special ‘Stand Up Solutions’ which Paddy describes as the funniest hour of comedy he has watched all year. “It leveled me!” O’Malley got a great write-up in the Tribune and the guys highly recommend the listeners check it out! Paddy dives into some parental chatter regarding catching his son messing around with his lighter and his daughter attending the Nascar with her boyfriend. Paddy also mentions that he’s spending his weekends at Little League and his son is dealing with an injury known as ‘Little Leaguer’s Elbow’. Then it’s over to Chicago Sports Talk with focus on Billy’s frustration with all our local teams! “Chicago stinks lately!” The upcoming DNC, the origins of Paddy’s newest vocabulary and Steven Van Zandt are just some of the other random topics the brothers discuss on another great show. Paddy is in full baseball coaching mode again and mentions some of his managerial influences.. Bill follows up by advising him to take it easy so he doesn’t pull a muscle. “People don’t stretch anymore!” We hope the kids like you, Paddy! Bill’s big cup is back again and admits he’s now a water fiend.. The brothers reminisce about some of the best inspirational coaching they’ve had in the past and Paddy delves into what kinds of coach he aspires to be. He also shares some advice on how to talk to these kids so they don’t think you’re stupid… Could this lead to a newfound career in podcast teaching? Or maybe a dialect coach!? The insane heat and the kinds of people it brings out in public is a hot topic this week. “Pandemonium could break out at any moment in Chicago!” – Billy. ‘Jeremy’s Dad’ is a new baseball movie idea starring Steve Buscemi. Bill wants to know how to build confidence and they focus on the reasons behind why babies are so confident! They’ve been talking about this in depth all week in preparation for the show…They dive into the logistics behind creating a successful dating profile with Paddy’s Bumble profile as a good example.  How about a new dating app called ‘Confident’? He’s been doing a lot more networking as of late and Billy suggests he searches for another job while he waits for more work in production to come his way. Maybe he could be a crazy Walmart greeter! The brothers debate which is weirder – Walmart or Costco? Who has more former convicts working for them? They’re asking the important questions as always, folks!  What age are you considered a senior citizen? Bill needs to find this out because he wants those benefits, ASAP! All this grocery store chatter brings about a new documentary idea called ‘The Insubordinate’ that follows the guys trying their best to get hired and fired in multiple stores of the same chain… Another potential job idea could be a new Houli’s Hooley OnlyFans page.. It’s not as x-rated as it sounds though! Paddy’s Little League days are coming to an end and Bill is looking forward to a potential work excursion to New Orleans next month for his annual ‘Tales of the Cocktail’ trip. Anti-Con is a new convention idea for the ‘rejects’ who don’t get invited to the regular Cons. Bill shares some questionable marketing practices he may use while in New Orleans and Paddy shares a pretty gross story about his old boss’ public bathroom practices… Seeing people with ankle monitors in public, Bill’s recent encounter with a magician and his job interview next week are some of the other topics the lads touch on this week.

They chat about how they would handle winning that much money.. “I might start crying!” – Paddy. Many questions arise from this topic of conversation – Would you go to work the following day? Would you even tell anyone?! A Lotto and McDonald’s crossover may be on the horizon after all this, folks.. Billy is summer dreamin’ and Paddy is trying to establish some summer boundaries with his kids. He shares some parental advice with the listeners on how to keep your kids occupied during their time off school this season. The ‘Road House’ movie remake is a hot topic this week and the guys discuss some of the crazier physical scenes in other action movies – it’s mostly guys kicking trees! “There’s not enough Van Damme content out there anymore!” – Paddy. There’s more Bald Talk this week and we take a long-awaited trip to ‘The Norwood Scale’ where the lads explain that balding guys fear the summer so they advise any of our balding listeners to just “shave it off”! There’s hope for anyone who can relate because Paddy discovered a new hair mill in Mexico! ‘The Cicada Whisperer’ is a wild new character the lads come up with this week played by Elijah Wood and the ideas come flowing after that, each one more insane than the next! The brothers are getting ready for the long weekend with plans to BBQ and then head out to a baseball tournament in Joliet. Paddy has been bitten by the Little League fever and chats about the gossip on the baseball diamond. They dive right into Fashion Talk at the top of this week’s show with focus on Billy’s new shoes that Paddy thinks might help him make some “new Memorial Day friends”. The guys revisit their Little League sitcom idea and come up with a potential pitch for “HeyBlue” starring Bill Burr as the umpire, with the pilot episode being called “That’s not Gary..” – Keep us posted on that guys! Paddy isn’t feeling the imposter syndrome as much as before and shares the reasons behind that with the listeners. He has been networking at Little League and shares a great story about his recent meeting with a prominent restaurateur associated with ‘The Bear’ TV show! Fun fact: there’s a gift store at Cracker Barrel! Bill also gives us a lesson on haggling and he mentions the lady who bought something he had his eye on because she  rubbed it in “the garage sale way”! He shares some of the interesting and frankly weird characters he met while “hunting for gold”.. The newly formed duo come up with some new ideas this week including the ‘ectochamber’ that helps you get ripped with minimal effort as well as the new character, ‘Billy the Galavanter’, inspired by our very own Bill Houlihan. Steven Seagal is involved with that character but they’re not sure how just yet…
