We begin the show this week with Paddy excited for the Thanksgiving season with the change in weather. Paddy recalls his High School Musical experience recently watching his daughter perform and complains that high school aged actors don’t project their voices enough. He particularly enjoyed the number “Get Ya Head In The Game” and has some new ideas for some variations including “Get Yo Ball In The Game!” lol. Bill thinks there should be more hecklers at high school theater productions. Okay Bill! We take a turn as Bill tells us that he and lady friend visited a comedy club last weekend and were heckled themselves as the staple “White Couple”. Bill was not happy! Lesson learned, “Don’t sit near the front row at a comedy show!” We take a break and return for the second half of the show and discuss the concept of “Friendsgiving”. What is it and where did it originate? Paddy thinks there should be a “Friendsgrieving” where friends gather, drink too much and complain about things that didn’t work out for them during the year. He might be onto something! We end the show with updates on how Bill’s extreme workouts in the gym are progressing and Paddy suggests he start offering his gym friends some strange treats. This gets pretty insane. Another fun and wacky episode!

He is still smoking though… ‘Everyone has some sort of a vice!’ He goes on to mention his recent encounter with a customer who also lost weight and shares some wisdom on some weight loss conversation Do’s and Don’ts. These two are considering starting a TV show based around the gym. What’s a prison workout? What do you listen to while working out? How many rolls of paper towels do they use every week at the gym? Some of the important questions posed in the first half of the show this week. Paddy is looking forward to watching his daughter in her High School Musical this weekend and Uncle Billy will be there to support! The brothers discuss some stereotypical ‘Theatre Teacher Looks’ and list some of the better-known TV theatre teacher characters. This leads to a conversation about their admiration for the movie ‘Showgirls’ and Bill mentions some of the unique things he has seen at Goodwill including ‘Showgirls’ boxsets and a guy scanning through baseball cards. ‘Even inflation is hitting the thrifting market!’  ‘Gino the Goodwill Gangster’ is their latest character that stems from the Goodwill conversation! It’s all about The Bears in this week’s Sports Talk. The best turkey dinners, Irish dancing in their undies and the upcoming holidays are some of the other topics covered on the show. Hibernian Media’s Annual Hooligan Ball will be at Barney Callaghan’s on Sunday December 15th with music, raffles and great craic! Be sure to come out and say hi! Paddy has jumped on the lotion train after Billy’s declaration in a recent episode. The brothers look back over how their Halloween night went and Paddy mentions how his Halloween is starting to change as his kids get older. Bill shares his recent experience dog sitting ‘Scout’ over the weekend and feels it was a good test run for him possibly getting his own dog… We can refer to him as ‘Billy the Dogfather’ now. Producer Mike and Paddy question whether taking the dog to the park is a ‘chick magnet’. The recent election results is a hot topic this week and the brothers dive into a discussion on people sharing their political opinions on social media as well as the importance of not alienating friends with different opinions. “Don’t let this ruin friendships!” This discussion allows Paddy to bring his Trump impression back out… finally! They head back to some ‘Dog Talk’ with some riveting questions regarding a dog’s consciousness. Bill has been ectomorphing a lot harder lately and the lads comment on some of the strange noises that people at a gym make.. Bill included! Glove-wearing celebrities, Lamar Odom’s sex doll story and innuendos are some of the other topics covered this week. We end the show with ‘Hound Dog’ by Elvis Presley.

We begin this week’s show with a special message from Paddy’s son and he shares Mikey’s final costume decision for Halloween this year. Paddy dives into the history of Halloween and he does his best to pronounce some Gaelic words associated with Celtic festivals. Where is all the discounted candy this year?! Bill’s doing his annual candy math this week! Some advice from Bill this week – Don’t go grocery shopping when you’re hungry! He’s thinking about starting a new Halloween tradition with an 80’s TV show themed party.. Watch this space! ‘Office Halloween Party’ is the brothers’ newest Horror Film idea. ‘Any apple bobbin’ goin on this week?!’ – Billy. The Exorcist priest who recently appeared on the Shawn Ryan Show is a hot topic with the guys in the second half of the show and they share some spooky stories surrounding that topic. Paddy and Billy share the story of their run-in with Satan at their recent meal out. Fun fact: Satan wears contacts! ‘Satan the Server’ is another new TV show idea inspired by our Halloween special. The White Sox’s new manager is the main point of conversation in this week’s Sports Talk. Do people workout in their Halloween costumes? How do people become possessed? Are aliens also demons?! All important questions that spring up this week. We end the show with ‘Somebody’s Watching Me’ by Rockwell.

Sarah fills us in on what she’s been up to since her last appearance and the brothers delve into their recent experience attending a High School football game in this week’s Sports Talk. What ever happened to Blowpop Mom?! Paddy could be Blowpop Dad… Watch this space! ‘The Jock & The Emo: Siblings At First Sight’ is a new reality show idea and the lads have plenty of questions for Sarah regarding her experience managing a Haunted House. “It’s a culture!”

Bill comes up with a new show called ‘The Enthusiast’ that shares the life of a Scare Actor. The history of Halloween is a hot topic this week and the audience gets a lesson in a Celtic traditions. ‘The Smashing Turnips’ could be the hottest new Irish rock band. The guys share some of the questionable things they got up to at Halloween during their teenage years. “It’s vandalism weekend!” What are some popular Irish Horror films? Do people still TP houses? What the hell is a ‘Lawn Job’?! Paddy recounts his visit to the dollar store and we learn that Billy is ‘a lotion guy’! Vampire facials, Colin Farrell movies and Reality TV are some of the other topics discussed on a jam-packed show and we end this week with “I’ve Got You Under My Skin’ by Frank Sinatra.

They begin by diving into some Halloween chatter with Bill sharing his interesting experience on a recent Haunted Barn Ride up in Lake Geneva as well as his Halloween themed Sip and Paint party experience. The guys discuss some good potential costumes for 2024 and they’re looking forward to some Halloween parties later this month. Fun fact: Paddy has really long fingers aka: ‘turtle hands’…What exactly is a finger spasm?! Paddy shares the anxiety surrounding having to chat to the Dean of his daughter’s school and the lads look forward to the end of this election season because they are over it at this point..They delve into the sad truth that people with opposing views tend not to be friends these days. The times, they are a-changin folks’! Elon Musk’s Humanoid Robot is a big topic of conversation this week with the brothers sharing their thoughts on the creation and its future potential. Can it change a diaper? How soft are its hands? Can it smoke?! Asking all the important questions again this week, lads! They share their opinions of buying handkerchiefs and discuss the importance of buying the right kinds of socks to end another show full of great banter!

Bill’s still thinking about getting a dog\! He fills the listeners in on his recent experience at a networking event which included bartenders in white tights and guys with one letter surnames! The Michael Lispy character idea pops up again during a conversation between the brothers regarding Business Porn.. Hans Van Fartsnifter is their newest character idea – stay tuned! The madness begins earlier than usual in this week’s show, folks! Bill has some complaints against the City of Chicago regarding the parking ticket he got recently. Paddy’s been experiencing everything that comes with Homecoming and explains how the photos beforehand is becoming a whole other event. The brothers compare homecomings these days to when they were in school which seems to involve a lot less alcohol… gotta change with the times guys! Paddy shares his almost out-of-body ER experience recently and these two suggest some improvements for the ER like introducing some comedy aka: Ernie the ER Clown. Paddy also shares some parental advice on kids who don’t want to listen to their parents. Beverly Hills Cop 2 references, LinkedIn chatter and their lotion usage are some of the other very random topics the Houlihan brothers touch on this week. We end this week’s show with ‘All The Right Moves’ by Jennifer Warnes and Chris Thompson.

They dive into the more stressful side of planning big events like a film festival and how they both had a bigger part to play in this year’s fest. Networking and the after party are also hot topics in the first half of this week’s show. Last week’s crazy dreams pop up again this week. Can someone find Billy a hot polish girlfriend already.. and ‘a small, awesome dog named Joey’! Billy’s been doing some reflecting this past week.. “I’m a snapper!” How do you pick a dog you’ll like? The guys share some good pointers on how to choose a pet. Maybe a pet bird would be a good alternative.. or a rabbit?!  Fun fact: The Houlihan brothers had a pet snake when they were kids and share some of the situations they got into with ‘Elmur’ . There’s more teeth talk with Billy sharing his recent positive experience at the dentist. She’s very happy with his oral health turnaround! This leads to some odd conversations on the different types of teeth George Washington had and donating teeth when you die! Billy’s charity golf event, his concerns surrounding getting a massage from a man and some Halloween chatter are some of the other things our favorite duo come up with this week. We end another great one with ‘Joey’ by Concrete Blonde.
