This week on The How To Podcast, we have my all time favorite people! My best friend, Laura Barrow, who helps me co-host as we take on the great feat of trying to understand the interworking of the mysterious male brain from our other two best friends: Brandon Adams & Austin Hinck. It's really fun whenever your high school friends become your lifelong friends and they'll hop on your podcast and give you the rundown. We talk dating apps, ghosting, how to know if there will be a second date and how to make a man COMMIT!
Can't wait for you to listen!

WHAT'S UP! We're back with another episode of The How To Podcast! This is our 3rd episode in our love-themed episodes for February. This week we have Janie Frank- she's one of my favorite TikTokers and I'm so pumped I got the chance to sit down with her and interview her. We talk about her religious upbringing in the Pentecostal church, her relationship with her partners Maggie & Cody and how she's grown on TikTok. The power of social media is super cool. Being able to learn more about different people and relationships- it's neat to have platforms that are so easily accessible with different information. It's what makes me geeeeeeek out about social media. And I hope this episode will teach you something new!

***TRIGGER WARNING****
This episode will contain content about eating disorders and body image
We’re back this week with Gabby Terzano - otherwise known as @livelaughyum. Gabby and I talk about her past ED and her recovery. We also talk about tangible steps to help get you away from the diet culture mentality. I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again: 1000 calories is not a lot. working out twice a day is tiring. weighing yourself is addicting. living & dying by your apple watch is dangerous. Making yourself “earn your food” isn’t great either. It was so awesome to sit down and talk with Gabby and realizing that you don’t have to be on your death bed to struggle with things like binging, purging (yes- over exercising is considered a form of purging) and under-eating. I can’t wait for you guys to hear this week’s episode!

This week on the podcast we have Amy Potthast. Amy is a dog mom, a soon-to-be DOCTOR of physical therapy, a Chiefs fan (#superbowl) and a survivor of Domestic Violence. Amy sits down with me and talks about her past relationship and how she dealt with the mental & physical abuse. 1 out of every 4 women will experience extreme physical abuse from their partner--let me write that again: ONE.OUT.OF.EVERY.FOUR. I talk about how this podcast is about creating the life you want...and that sounds really nice and fun and cool. But no matter what- there will always be adversity and there will always be challenges. And how you rise above and what you learn from those life lessons is so important. Amy talks about her past relationship, what the process of pressing charges was and advice to those who are in a toxic relationship. Amy is absolutely AMAZING and I can't wait for you guys to hear!!
