Everything you need to know about DAOs!  DAO are “a group organized around a mission that coordinates through a shared set of rules enforced on a blockchain”. At the most basic level, they use collective participation to fund things and get things done.  I go on a bit of a tangent at 11:43, which you can skip if you want.
