Yesterday, we learned about a potential team name for the new NHL team. The reaction was massive, both positive and negative, but everyone has an opinion. The Chiefs and Niners play in Super Bowl LIV this weekend, and there's no better person to check in with than a man who has been to his fair share of Super Bowls, Mike Holmgren. Conventional wisdom suggests that the Niners and their stacked defense should be able to run away with this game, but what if they have to come from behind? Garoppolo and the Niners offense aren't designed for it, but the Chiefs on the other hand have demonstrated the ability. Last hour, we learned that the new NHL team may, MAY be called the Kraken, and the backlash on the text line is strong. Softy on the other hand is completely on board.

As the NFL tries to make Media Day a bigger deal, it's been moved to prime time, but is it really attracting more of an audience? In some ways, we're glad we're not down there this year (it would be a different story if the Hawks were in it obviously). It's a lot of work, and covering it from a West Coast perspective creates even more challenges, and then today an earthquake happened. You know, this warm studio in Seattle looks pretty good right now. Mick Shaffer of 41 Action News in Kansas City is down there covering the Chiefs. He spends a few minutes with us talking about Mahomes and the potential dynasty. Dynasties aren't always that easy to achieve however.
