Seven games into the season and tonight is the first start of the year for Felix Hernandez, something we never really expected to see, but here we are. Felix hasn't won a game since last June. His numbers weren't great to say the least, and Spring Training numbers didn't improve at all. Today though, a new season begins for Felix. Before we automatically throw the man under the bus, let's think of all the things he's done for the team over the years, give the man a shot tonight, and hope he proves something. That aside, the Mariners are what we thought they were. Okay, we didn't really expect them to be 5-1 including winning 3 of 4 against the World Champion Red Sox, but we're seeing a lot of what we expected from the team. They've got a great offense, putting up huge numbers, but the bullpen is struggling, and defense isn't too great. Can they make it work with what they have, or will they come tumbling back to earth? Washington State's new basketball coach Kyle Smith was officially introduced today, and we have some of the highlights. The program has really only had three successful coaches in its history. Hopefully Smith can be the fourth. One Something Good, the invention of the one-minute MRI, and Texas Tech coach Chris Beard.
