The Ian Furness Show

Tune in every Friday at 2pm for two Ians. Ian Furness welcomes Ian Rapoport from NFL Network to go over all of the biggest news of the day in the National Football League from fines to suspensions, and injuries to signings.

Chambers Bay Distillery sponsors Ian's visit with Rob Rang of NFLDraftScout.com on Fridays at 220pm. CBD is a small local distillery founded by two local guys, Alan and Jeff where their mission is simple, "To Create Uniquely Extraordinary Spirits"... Featuring Ghost Dog Whiskey, Raan (rhymes with Pawn) Vodka and their CBD Bourbon which is aged in a boathouse above the waters of Puget Sound

The Mariners have made another trade today, continuing a very turbulent off-season, and there's been a lot of debate about what this means for the team going forward, but on a more serious note, Jerry Dipoto was admitted to the hospital in Vegas, and obviously we hope that he's okay. The attention in the NFL is turning to playoff scenarios, and the Seahawks are almost certain to get in, but the team is banged up right now. Ultimately, if the Seahawks win this weekend, they're in, the pressure is off, and the next couple of games aren't going to be as important. KNBR's John Lund joins the show to discuss both Bay Area NFL teams. Today is the day we debut this year's version of the 12 Days of Christmas.

It's Week 2 of the fantasy football playoff, and The Athletic's Brandon Funston distributes advice to help you get a win this weekend. A lot has been made of Sherman's comments, and then this week, Frank Clark's response. There's a method behind the madness, and of course Sherman is not going to say a ton of great things about his former team and biggest rival right now, and if his comments help re-ignite a great rivalry, than all the better. Softy was out yesterday getting a root canal. He's back today, broadcasting from the Central Bar and Restaurant

Thursday at 2pm is your weekly chance to improve your chances at winning this weekend's fantasy football matchup thanks to Brandon Funston of The Athletic. Brandon appears thanks to Puyallup River Brewing. With distribution in most parts of Washington, Puyallup River Brewing is just two guys passionate about beer and making people smile. Try their award winning beers like Hazey’s Comet, Electron IPA, Mud Mountain Milk Stout, Mountain Sunrise Pale and more specialty brands at lots of retailers in the area.

The big news to start the show is that Mychal Kendricks is officially out for the rest of the season. He's only played in four games for the Hawks, but he's had an impact in every game. Shaquill Griffin stops by to chat about Monday's game, being an underdog, the quarter defense, his brother's progress as a player, and a lot more. Pete Carroll speaks to the media about the Kendricks injury along with a whole host of other injuries, preparing for the 49ers game, and other team happenings. The team is pretty banged up right now, but they're in a good position. If they win, they're in the playoffs. If they tie, there are still possibilities that allow them to get in this weekend. Worst case scenario, they have to beat Arizona in Week 17. Pete Carroll interrupted Ian's conversation with Shaquill Griffin, so we finish hearing from him later in the hour.

Every Wednesday at 2pm, Mike Holmgren joins Ian to discuss all things Seahawks and everything happening in the NFL. Today, Ian asks, when you're a lock for the playoffs, what takes precedent; winning games or getting healthy? Who decides if players are healthy enough to play? Some in the national media are saying they'd take Dak Prescott over Russell, based on one game? The owner of the Suns is threatening to move the team to Vegas or Seattle, but it's probably not going to happen. Dick Fain is joined by Terry Blount today with Softy out. He drops in to tell us what's on the show today.

Tune in every Wednesday at 2pm to hear Mike Holmgren with Ian Furness on all things NFL and Seahawks. He is brought to you by El Gaucho, Masterpark, 30-10, Tacoma Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram, Redbox, and by Washington Gold Casinos
