The Iceman Speaks Out: Gaza, Generational Trauma & the path to healing

Listen Later

On this week’s The Tea, Myriam sits down for a raw, difficult, and fascinating conversation with controversial health guru, The Iceman himself, Wim Hof, in a rare and exclusive interview just before his trip to Doha for a charity mission.

This is Wim Hof like you’ve never seen him before. He speaks out on the injustices in Gaza and Palestine, generational trauma, and the failures of the wellness industry to address systemic issues like imperialism, racism, and misogyny. Wim also opens up about healing in the face of unresolved harm and directly addresses the abuse allegations from his past, offering an unfiltered reflection on accountability, growth, and resilience.

If you think you know Wim Hof, think again. This eye-opening conversation dives deep into personal and collective struggles, exploring what it truly means to heal in a broken world.

At the time of recording, guest Wim Hof faced allegations of physical, sexual, and verbal abuse from his former partner Caroline, whom he was involved with over a decade ago. Wim Hof has categorically denied all allegations. He stated that he "is not violent" and claimed his ex-partner is "on the warpath" and "now wants to make it all seem different than it was”. Hof has filed a complaint for alleged defamation and slander against the Dutch newspaper de Volkskrant. His family has also refuted the claims.

As the legal proceedings are ongoing, we are unable to discuss certain aspects of this case and have adhered to legal guidelines in presenting this episode.
