**REMINDER - Tomorrow night, February 18th - it's time for another Jackbox Games Night for Patrons/Premium Subscribers LIVE on our Discord at 8:00pm eastern. Send us a message through social media if you need a link! We'll be making the Discord available to everyone who wants to be a part of our growing community of friendship, love, and talking all things mental health VERY SOON! **
On this episode of the illest couple, Sean lets us in on a bit of a phone quirk that he has that really surprised Cathy, and will probably surprise many of YOU - but also might make things a bit more clear for those who never seem to get a response from him...
Oh, also, let's just get this out of the way right now - don't call Cathy. That's it. No further explanation on that one. Just don't. She will not be your emergency contact, for that you can be certain.
So let's all take a quick side-trip down memory lane, as we also have minor PTSD flashbacks involving "the internet" button, pay-per-text, and paying for picture messages. Hey, remember answering machines? Those existed!
Anyway, this and much more - oh yeah, and a new phenomenal band name idea!
Shoutouts to our incredible patrons - Logan, Kate, Scott, Jason, April, Mary, Mindy, Josh, Larry, Tara, Tristyn, Leah, and Jesse!

Hey friends, please join me for a SPOOOOKY tale to celebrate the best holiday of all!
As a special bonus, while the illest couple revamps, I am reading a couple of disturbing short stories that kept me on the edge of my seat till the end.
I love all things in the thriller and horror genre, and apparently, a lot of us with anxiety do! I would've thought it would be the opposite, but it gets your worried brain to focus on now instead of overthinking the past or future.
Please curl up with a blanket, a hot cup of something, and lose yourself for a bit. <3 Cathy

More details about our trip - including Cathy's anxiety (because Sean overschedules...,) we reveal her biggest struggle during the trip, a badass spot with all of the best things in one little square, a drink called "Hulk Hogan," a place with "all of the doggos," and more... Plus, Sean's big gripe with southern drivers, how he turned a 45-minute drive into... more than that, the best bbq we've ever had, Sean's restroom experience at the gas station, and so much more!

Hey, cool kids! Guess what? We're alive! We took a sudden hiatus (which we'll explain between this and the next episode) but we're in the midst of learning, and rebuilding to bring you all a better product, because we love you and want to create something that beyond exceptional so that we can help as many people as well can, and most importantly - we want to end mental health stigmas.
So anyway, here's a bit of an update from our recent anniversary road trip (3 years married) to Charlotte, NC. It felt great to get away for a bit - something we've never done together.

On this episode Sean & Cathy discuss the tragic story of Marilyn Monroe - specifically from a mental health perspective - and deep dive into her documented struggles, including her attempts to take her own life, and the efforts by one of her most famous love interests to save her.

In this episode, S & C talk with their "other daughter" Lacie (Jade's childhood friend.) Sean's known her since she was about 3, loves Lacie so much, and has been like another father to her... Now 19, Lacie wants to share her truths regarding Spectrum Disorder, depression, anxiety, fibromyalgia, vivid hallucinations, pain sensory issues, schizophrenia, etc. and her constant efforts to take control of her life, the difficulties of addressing them when one parent is in complete denial, being in and out of treatment facilities, and ultimately finally finding a trustworthy partner to help her find happiness.
This episode will carry over into a 2nd part, as we'll reconnect with Lacie and continue the fascinating conversation.
