So, He didn’t just randomly turn water into wine to appease His mother. So, then, what’s the meaning behind it? What makes this amazing event more than just a simple miracle He performed? If you asked 10 people how their relationship with Jesus began, you’d get 10 different answers. Sure, there may be some similarities, but Jesus meets each of us uniquely so that we can hear and understand who He is. You’ll see that even though Jesus met them where they were, in the ways that worked best for them, those men still had a choice to make. They had to decide to say yes to following Him.

Imagine that you’re trapped under a huge pile of rubble. You can’t see. You can’t move. You’re helpless. You need someone to come and free you from the weight that’s pinning you down. Well, today, Pastor Bill shares that you really are trapped, paralyzed by the weight of your sin. But there’s good news…that’s exactly why Jesus came. He took the sin of the world upon Himself. He’s made the way to pull you out of the burden and bondage that sin creates. He came on a rescue mission for you.

I don’t know about you, but I must hear this reminder sometimes. God has me- just as He has you- right where He wants us to be. There’s a purpose in where we are. Today, you’ll see that if you are willing to be His witness, He will use you to draw others to Himself. He wants you to be His witness in the world. So, just as Pastor Bill says, don’t wish yourself out of your circumstances. God will use them for His glory and good in your life and the lives of the people around you.

We all long for purpose, for our lives to mean something. We want to make a difference in significant ways. Well, today, Pastor Bill spells out exactly how you can do that right now. He shares that, like John the Baptist, you can be a witness for Jesus. You can point the people around you to Him. And you do this by telling them what you’ve seen and experienced. You share about who Jesus is and how He’s made a difference in your life. When you do this, you’ll see God move in incredible ways.
