Fr. Douglas McKay- God as Father

Fr. Doug and Chuck talk about the importance of seeing God as Our Father, and how our relationships with our earthly fathers can influence how we see God. They also talk about their experiences with their own earthly fathers, and how they shaped their lives.

Caller Story- My father died when I was young, but I told God that He would have to be my Father now.

Caller Story- My father recently passed away, but his dying wish was that I would return to the Church.

Caller Story- When I was young, I used to doubt my father’s wisdom. Now that I am older, I see how much he knew.

Caller Question- If God is a good Father, how can he allow suffering from natural disasters?
