Fr. Peter Armenio- The Spiritual Response to the Crisis in the Church

Chuck and Fr. Peter discuss how we, the laity, should respond spiritually to the crisis in the Church.

Caller Comment- I am going back to school so that I can be a trauma counselor and help the victims of abuse.

Caller Comment- I go to Church for Jesus Christ, not for the priests, bishops, or pope.

Caller Comment- We are in a war of attrition against Satan, and we need to persevere like the Early Christians.

Caller Comment- This crisis has not shaken my faith- my faith is in the Eucharist. We should be trying to know about the good parts of the Catholic faith.

Email Comment- We shouldn’t be casting stones at people in the Church, when we ourselves have sins.

Email Comment- Unfaithful priests remind me of the parable of the wedding, where a guest did not have the wedding garment and was cast out.

Caller Comment- It is an important time to be Catholic because we have to be real Catholics!
