This week we have a first for the pod, we’ve got an actress on! Not only that, but an actress who also makes a living out of directing and singing, too. Francesca Goodridge is a long time friend, having lived with Michelle back in 2012/13, a much anticipated guest as we get the opportunity to delve into a world that we are yet to.

Fran has directed hit theatre productions such as Shout!, amongst many others, travelling up and down the UK and even to parts of Europe and the Middle East to ply her trade. On a chilled Sunday afternoon we get into things before our roast dinner is ready for us, enjoy!

This one is a bit different…after seeing the new Joker film, an origin story about the super villain, we wanted to sit down and discuss the effect that art has on our society, in a very real way. Either through protests, personal life changing experiences or the more tragic events such as those in 2012, associated with the character, Joker, art is powerful and we wanted to discuss whether…superhero pun intended…with great power comes great responsibility. Good friend, colleague and regular guest, Ben Gladwin, joins us.

We’re back with the guests! This week we are joined by Heidi and Liv from the independent clothing brand, Aesthetic Laundry. Heidi set up the company a few years ago with a focus on fit and colour! Now that things are exploding for her she’s taken on a bigger team, including best friend Liv.

This is perfect for us as we talk about working with your partner, taking alternative creative paths and even get into the realms of toxic masculinity.

Join us this week as we dry off, with a baileys hot chocolate, after our photoshoot in the rain with our regular guest, Ben Gladwan. Off the back of having a great time taking snaps for our upcoming releases, we chat about the importance of band photography, the difference between art and marketing and our usual silliness.
