About Luke:

Luke's journey into the healing arts began with studying Religious Studies at the University of Missouri (2015). This education sparked a daily yoga practice, which led to Luke receiving his RYT-200 from the Institute of Spirituality & Health at Texas Medical Center (2017). He also studied Kung Fu, Tai Chi, and Qi Gong and finds Qi Gong essential to his health and therapeutic perspective.

Wanting to work more directly with people in a therapeutic context, Luke became a Certified Hellerwork Structural Integration Practitioner (CHP), and studied Cranial Sacral Therapy with a mentor for two years. He practices bodywork in Kansas City, MO and enjoys helping people live a pain-free, active life and supporting embodiment of physical and energetic alignment.

Today's episode is a beautiful story of a search for the interwining of spirituality, Christianity and the mystics, as I interview Luke Healy, co-founder of Integral Christian Network.

Luke Healy is the co-founder of Integral Christian Network, an endeavor to help further the loving evolution of Christianity and the world. He is passionate about pioneering innovation in forms of spiritual community, in gathering like-minded and like-hearted pilgrims on the spiritual journey, and making mystical experience of God accessible in individual and collective practice.

Luke's first powerful mystical experience came at a young age, when the depth of God's love came home in a way that could never be separated from him. As he grew, religious forms provided structure and community, but he always longed for more and better ways to live out this transforming love together with others in deeper community and communion.

He began a search for deeper expression and understanding among the mystics and philosophers, until an 8-year dark night bringing him to the end of “mind” as the answer. Then resurrection. Luke came alive in an embodied awakening, filled with “the deep surge of love” as Teilhard de Chardin calls it. The Integral framework provided the map, and the mystics the resonance. He now seeks to bring together scattered mystics and spiritual voyagers to do the work of loving evolution, of meaningful connection, of participatory and creative mysticism to bring forth greater consciousness, freedom, and love.
