Our measurement of success usually comes in the form of numbers. We track how well we are doing based on what those numbers tell us. But how do you decide which numbers to track? The hard truth is that most of us have spent a lot of time tracking numbers that take us out of alignment with our true definition of success. In today's episode we'll talk about vanity metrics, I'll pull back the curtain on the truth behind most of those impressive numbers we see online and I'll share how you can create your own scorecard for success.

How do you possibly live On Purpose when you don't have a vision for what you want? Or what do you do when your dream is taken away? Often the realities of daily circumstances keep us from truly stepping into the life we want and it may seem difficult to separate the circumstances of your present with the possibilities of your future.
On today's episode we're talking about how you see the micro-miracles in your day, how you can cast a realistic vision for your future that feels vastly different from your daily life and how we step into the extraordinary life.

Purpose has so much weight to it and, because of that, we can shy away from figuring out our purpose. But if you aren't living on purpose– living with intention and towards something bigger than today– life can feel meaningless and dull. We often struggle through life based on what we think we are "supposed" to do. Today's episode gets to the heart of how you can live with more intention even when you feel like you don't know your purpose and how we can carve out more time to do what matters most.

Your thoughts have the ability to influence your reality. So often we forget or we don't notice our own thoughts, but the truth is: scientists have discovered that about 85% of your thoughts are negative and 70% of those thoughts repeat constantly.. Our brain is primed to help us survive and belong--even if survival means not living your best life. In today's episode, Cathy Heller and I discuss what it would look like to embrace rejection, why we don't want everyone to like us and how we can choose our thoughts, which helps us choose our future.

The biggest mistake people make with their goals is that they don't set the right goals. Let me phrase that: They don't set the right goals for themselves. There's no magic list of goals you need to complete in order to be successful. Goals should be personalized and customized so they are in alignment with your purpose. In today's episode we'll talk about how you discover your purpose and how to set goals that are aligned with the vision you have for your future. It's time to stop living life on repeat and step into the extraordinary life you were designed to live.

Is adversity an advantage? Sometimes it can feel like the deck is stacked against you… but what if that is actually an opportunity to step into becoming your best self? Today's guest, Chris Norton, personifies the adversity advantage. He believes taking radical responsibility for yourself can allow you to unlock the "power to stand." Chris was told that he had a 3% chance of ever regaining movement and feeling below the neck. What sounded completely hopeless, he saw as an opportunity to conquer and to step into being the 3%.

It sounds inspiring, but the truth is: it can be a little difficult and scary. In today's episode I'm talking about how we can make sure we stay aligned with our values --even when it means going against the status quo and feeling uncomfortable because you are living in a way that's different from the rest of society. Today I am taking a stand for what I believe.

Is it selfish to go after my big dreams and goals? That's almost always the first question I get when I talk about living on purpose. We women are used to making sure everyone is taken care of before we worry with ourselves. What if we could turn that around? What if we could let go of feeling selfish so that we actually could make the impact we want in the world around us? Today's episode will inspire you to rethink self-care and reframe how you show up for yourself.
