Beau Bedford is a Dallas-based producer, multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter who has become a central figure in the modern Texas roots and Americana scene. He got his start playing in Jonathan Tyler's Northern Lights before founding The Texas Gentlemen, a rotating collective of Dallas players he originally assembled as an all-purpose backing band for singer-songwriters like Leon Bridges and Nikki Lane. Bedford led the group for roughly eight years — recording their 2017 debut TX Jelly at the legendary FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals before stepping away in 2019 to focus on producing. Today he's co-owner and chief engineer at Modern Electric Sound Recorders in Dallas and a member of the Texas based band Chaparelle.
Beau is closely associated with Paul Cauthen, having produced Cauthen's debut My Gospel and the Have Mercy EP, along with co-writing several of his songs. His broader credits include Orville Peck (Spotify Singles), Amigo the Devil (Born Against), Wyatt Flores (Welcome to the Plains), and Tanner Usrey.
