Johnnie Walker began her career as a country music radio personality. She later segued to Black radio holding numerous positions, and in 1989 she joined Def Jam Recordings as a regional marketing rep. Within one year Walker was promoted to National Director of Promotion. The Sr. National Director position soon followed and positioned Walker to be instrumental in launching the careers of Redman, Method Man, Onyx, Montell Jordan, Ashanti, Sisqo, and Foxy Brown! Making the move to New York City in 1997, Walker was named Vice President of Promotion for Def Jam. A year later, after restructuring the company’s promotions department and its field staff, Walker was named Sr. Vice President. During her tenure, her team successfully marketed Def Comedy Jam, Phat Farm clothing, Russell Simmons' co-produced movies, "The Nutty Professor,” Jackie Chan’s “Rush Hour 1 and 2” plus several #1 Gold and Platinum albums from Jay-Z, Sisqo, Kelly Price, Ashanti, Ja Rule, DMX, LL Cool J, Musiq, Dru Hill, and others.

We are on Monday through Friday each morning at 8a pacific, which is 9a Mountain, 10a central, and 11a Eastern.  Everything goes.  Everything.  When you are on, do not be disruptive, we have fun, but we like the show to run smoothly.  If you have noises in your background, they are magnified, so keep a quiet atmosphere or Jay will mute you – and if you’ve never been SHUT/DOWN, it will catch you by surprise, but if you know the score,  c’mon! what are you waiting for? Come join me in sharing my journey as I walk through this "Little" thing called Cancer again. The year 2021 was ending in the same fashion it had begun - I had separated from my husband, filed for divorce and moved twice all by November - December 2021 comes and I find a lump that turned out to be Triple Negative Breast Cancer. The doctor tells me that this is the most aggressive and least responsive forms for breast cancer to have, only 15% of all breast cancer patients. There is to be a projected 339K breast cancer diagonsis for the year 2022, and of that about 43,250 will die from breast cancer and 287,850 cases will be of some type of invasive breast cancer in women.

Real N Raw Radio (RNR) is a talk show designed to be the common ground for "we the people". Where all races, backgrounds, lifestyles, and occupations, can come together and discuss the issues at hand, strictly using their own personal opinions and life experiences as their points. We believe that "true understanding" is the key to just about everything!  Here at RNR, it's not about being "right or wrong", it's about being open-minded, gaining some insight, and understanding through the eyes, perspectives, and testimonies of our fellow brothers and sisters.  Thanks for listening and calling in!
