In what may be considered Waka Flocka’s most controversial interview yet, the Atlanta rap star made a puzzling and passionate statement that’s left many fans confused: he’s not Black.Waka sat down with the hosts of Sway’s Universe as they ?discussed a plethora of topics. He gave his testament on topics like the current state of race in America, the NFL #TakeAKnee movement and, apparently, what it means to be Black — which he argued that he is not.

“When it comes to talking about African-Americans, I have no education with that,” he said. “Period. I’m not even connected to that no more. Because that’s a system.”

Waka, instead, claims the race of the indigenous peoples (also known as Native Americans), arguing that “80 percent of slaves were already here” prior to the African slave trade. You know Sway couldn’t let that ?moment past without asking where he got it from, to which Waka simply responded “the books.”

Ironically enough, fans were even more baffled by his sentiments considering that he wore a “Black By Popular Demand” T-shirt during the interview.

“I’m confused, but I’m d**n sure not Black,” Waka continued. “You not gonna call me Black.”

I read an article that said – SMART PHONES are killing Americans, but nobody’s counting.  The way this headline reads, looks like the use of smart phones is killing Americans, or because you have one.  What it should have said is – NOT PAYING ATTENTION is killing Americans, because the use of a phone, or texting, would fall under that category, as well as daydreaming, eating, talking to a passenger, putting some discipline on a child, singing with your eyes closed, and on and on, until the break of dawn.  NOT PAYING ATTENTION, please – not SMART PHONE, and just the smart phone?  What about the phone that’s not so smart?  KINGS IN THE MORNING, right here, right now!

What I don’t understand, as we look at politics – is if you have people AVOIDING saying, or answering the questions that are asked, so as if NOT to give an answer.  I have seen people ask – not get the answer, then say it’s a YES OR  NO answer – yet no one is held accountable.  AND THIS – Our president will do something that is not correct, or say something not correct, and when the response comes – the response gets the attack, not FIRST STRIKE or like in RAMBO, first blood – If there more shows like ours – I think there would be more accountability in our country.  Oh, who are we?  KINGS IN THE MORNING – Right here, right now….

I don’t think Martin Luther King Jr, could have helped it.  I don’t think Abraham Lincoln, could have helped it.  And although neither were Jesus – was John Wilkes Booth and James Earl Ray – the Judas figure in those episodes?  And now this – with our current President.  I don’t think he can help it.  I don’t know what the outcome will be, but I don’t think it will be a good one, for the country.  Some sources say, the current President has a 30% chance of making full term, which means a 70% of NOT MAKING IT.  I don’t get it – I just don’t, but I tell you what I do get.  KINGS IN THE MORNING, right here – RIGHT NOW!
