THE JEREMIAH SHOW - Featuring Jo Jo Foote My special guest is Jo Jo Foote Music Artist, Songwriter, Session Player Jo Jo was born and raised in San Francisco. By the age of 13, he started writing his songs and throughout his teenage years, he performed in local cover bands. He moved to LA and started a band called “MissionaryS". They secured a recording deal with Reality Records. After the MissionaryS broke up, he did session work at the famed Sunset Sound recording studio in Hollywood. He toured with Island Records recording artist- folk singer PHRANC. He also recorded with former Ramones band member Ritchie Ramone. He joined Irish singer Annmarie Cullen’s band as her bass player and co-writer on several of her songs including her hit “Ashes”. His latest EP is getting played on a lot of indie stations across the country. The songs “Plain Sight “ and ”Shattered Glass “have scored a couple of number one on some top 10 Indie radio lists in New York and LA. “Plain Sight “reached number five on the top 75 list a couple of weeks ago. “Shattered Glass” reached number seven on the Top 75 Radio Indie Alliance network. THE ARWEN LEWIS SHOW - Featuring Stacy Antonel Nashville artist Stacy Antonel makes clever, country-leaning Americana that feels vintage and hyper-modern. Her “country jazz” vocals conjure the great singers of the 20s-30s, with the emotive power of country icon Patsy Cline. Rooted in classic country and laced with jazz, pop, and R&B elements, Antonel’s narrative songs often feature unconventional themes. Antonel grew up near San Diego studying classical piano and cites an eclectic range of early musical inspiration: Tori Amos’s peculiar phrasing, Otis Redding’s rich melodic hooks. After winning the televised singing contest “3 Minutes to Stardom”, Antonel quit her job to focus full-time on music. She began performing classic country covers as Ginger Cowgirl, and in 2017 moved to Nashville to record her self-titled debut EP, which was released in 2019. The album was praised by critics and led to tours in California, the Southeast, the UK, and Germany. Antonel’s debut full-length Always the Outsider drops June 2022 under her own name, an eclectic, otherworldly Americana collection of “outsider anthems” exploring concepts like alien romance and past lives as well as everyday emotions like isolation and disconnectedness.
