Joe Enders did what every Catholic should be able to do: he publicly defended the teaching of his Church. Days later, he was placed on administrative leave. On Ash Wednesday, he was fired.

The Archdiocese of Detroit offered no clear explanation. But the timing tells the story. Enders had appeared on a Catholic commentary program and posted on social media about Zionism, distinguishing it from anti-Semitism, articulating the Church's teaching on the Old Covenant, and affirming that the Church is the New Israel. For this, he lost his job, his income, and his health insurance. His second child is due any day.

This is about what happens when young, orthodox Catholics, raised in the faith, committed to tradition, raising families, discover that speaking the Church's own language can get them exiled from her institutions. Enders represents a generation drawn to the Latin Mass, to clarity, to martyrdom if necessary. The Archdiocese just showed them what loyalty costs.

Remedies for impurity:

1- Receive Holy Communion everyday, only if you are in the state of grace.

   can make spiritual communions, as many as you want.

2- Devotion to the B.V.M:

  a) Consecrate yourself to the BVM.

  b) Pray the rosary daily for purity.

  c) Say three hail Mary's on your knees, with your hands under your knees, for purity. 

  d) Wear the brown scapular. 

  e) Call on Our Lady immediately when tempted, St. Alphonse say it is an infallible sign you will not fall.

  f) Pray that the BVM will grant you the efficacious grace that you will have a deep hatred for sins of impurity. And that you would rather die in the state of 

    grace than ever commit a mortal sin.

3) Pray to BVM to find a steady faithful confessor, one with zeal & is totally faithful to the Church. Go every week to confession.

4) Meditate on one of the Four Last Things every day: death, judgement, hell and heaven.

5) Practice the presence of God at all times. He knows every thought and deed you do and can strike you dead in your sins.

6) Avoid all occasions of sin. Avoiding everything that cuts us off from God's friendship: tv, internet, porn, bad company etc...

7) Temperance in food and drink. Practice interior and exterior penance.

8) Dress modest.

No falls who practices all of the above! You must do all of the above, the only exception is #1 if you are not in the state of grace.
