A woman in Portland got a phone call from a contact in Seattle who told her “shut off your Alexa right now!” The device had recorded a private conversation between the woman and her husband and sent it to a random contact. Danielle says she used to joke about the devices eavesdropping, but not anymore, because she’s unplugged them all.

-A major pipeline that would pump jet fuel under Richmond to YVR is one step closer to construction. The line would go underground below Highway 99 and to the airport. Now that the Environmental Assessment Certificate has been approved, the next step is for three key pieces of paperwork to make their way to City Council. Richmond has always been opposed to the project.
