Chapter 1:

-Gord is forced this morning to admit that Canada is totally obsessed with Scott and Tessa and whether or not the 2 are dating, in love, married etc..The rumors are endless at the winter games.

Chapter 2:

-More Americans are cutting up their guns - in the wake of last week’s shooting that killed 17 people.  Phoenix man Aaron Le Roque cut up his four guns with his son (here he’s speaking to local radio station KTAR News) says he was inspired by Scott Pappalardo’s video showing him destroying his AR15.

Chapter 3:

-The 3 BC Green MLA's will be voting in favor of the NDP's new budget.  That said, Green leader Andrew Weaver thinks the foreign buyer tax should have been levied across the entire province.  But what are the general take away from this budget?

Chapter 4:

-Tessa & Scott relationship mystery continues.  After several interviews, post their gold medal performance, Canadians are still unsure where they stand on their seemingly loving relationship.

Chapter 5:

-It was a classic NDP budget with big program spending, not much to directly stimulate resource development and private investment.  The Vancouver Sun's Vaughn Palmer is here with his take on the day's headlines.

-Paul Kershaw is a professor at UBC's School of Population and Public Health, and thinks the budget offers younger British Columbians real reason to celebrate.  However, Kershaw says on average every senior gains $421 in new spending in the budget, compared to $261 for each person under the age of 45.

Canada’s figure skating darlings Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir took home ice dancing gold at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea, capping off their historic Olympic career.  Performing to Moulin Rouge, the pair captured the gold medal in front of a roaring crowd at the Gangneung Ice Arena with a total score of 206.07.

The NDP government's first full budget comes down this afternoon. Finance Minister Carole James signaled again yesterday that the budget will be focused on childcare and housing.  The Province newspaper's Michael Smyth is here with his take on the day's headlines.
