Chapter 1:

-A driving expert says one of the things costing ICBC - is the fact there’s only a small number of driving schools that teach the graduated licensing program.  The good news though, according to Wallace, is that B.C.’s road test is among the toughest in the world.

Chapter 2:

-Canada’s figure skating darlings Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir took home ice dancing gold at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea, capping off their historic Olympic career.  Performing to Moulin Rouge, the pair captured the gold medal in front of a roaring crowd at the Gangneung Ice Arena with a total score of 206.07.

-Recently unsealed indictments have revealed where suspected Russian interference in the US election took place. In a now-vacant building in St Petersburg.

-What is kratom? And could it be effective in stemming opioid overdoses?  Kratom is similar to methadone in the sense that it can alleviate the suffering that withdrawal symptoms.

-Guitar sales and revenues are down across North America as a new reality of music takes hold of the industry.  You no longer need guitars to make music thanks to digital technologies.

Chapter 9:

-This afternoon, British Columbians will FINALLY get a detailed look at the NDP's plans for the province.  Finance Minister Carole James will introduce the party's first full budget -- with child care and affordable housing expected to be front and centre.  The details of that housing plan have been a major question mark since the party took power last summer.

There was an interesting rendition of the Star Spangled Banner performed by Fergie at the NBA All Star game on the weekend.  Some people think the sexy spin was a bit off putting.

B.C.’s teachers’ union is looking for ways to try and prevent special needs students from being targets of frustration from their teachers.  An annual report released by the teachers’ watchdog found special needs students are twice as likely to be the subject of reported misconduct.
