Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is turning his attention from the U-S to Mexico, as uncertainty looms over the future of NAFTA.

New BC Ferries regulations went into effect yesterday. You are no longer allowed to stay in your car on closed deck sailings.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is heading to Mexico today as tensions between leaders involved in the North American Free Trade Agreement renegotiation grows.  Trudeau is meeting with the Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto, to discuss the agreement, a day after talking in Washington, D.C., with U.S. President Donald Trump.

A Canadian man and his family have been finally freed from captivity after being held hostage by the Taliban for five years. Joshua Boyle, along with his American-born wife and two children born in captivity, had their release secured by Pakistan, according to a U.S.

The bad news keeps piling up about the Site C dam including budget overruns, missed construction deadlines and fights with contractors.  The Province newspaper's Michael Smyth is here with his take on the day's headlines.

BC may be the first province to treat addiction as a medical health issue and offer drugs to patients in order to adminster in a safe and monitored environment.  Our guest was was a member of the injectable opioid agonist treatment guideline committee. She’s also spent time working at Crosstown Clinic in Vancouver, the only clinic in Canada where injectable hydromorphone and prescription heroin are available treatments for opioid addiction.
