Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! Time is at a premium this year so I hid from my family and recorded the podcast on turkey day. We took off last week so its a jam packed show today. New trailers, images, and news galore. Listen in for stories about Disgaea 6, Atelier Ryza 2, Black Friday deals, and the possible English listing for Persona 5 Scramble! We'll be back next week with a regular show and check out our Sunday Special this weekend for the soundtrack of Trails of Cold Steel IV. Thanks for listening and dont eat too much!

I was this close to calling off this week's show. Until 2 days ago, there simply wasn't enough news to record. But here we are and it's a fun one. Sega and Falcom released some plans for 2021 so we'll talk about them and what it means beyond next year. Atelier Ryza 2 had some good bits of info as well. Of course next gen systems from Playstation and Xbox hit this week, but we're a JRPG podcast so not much to speak of yet with them. Lots of other fun topics and games discussed as well. Thanks for listening!

A bit of a light week of gaming news. Luckily Bravely Default II followed up its release date news from last week with a wealth of info this week. I give all the details on the main characters, the world, and the job and game systems. I'll direct you to our YouTube channel for many trailers this week for upcoming games. Plus a few more fun things to talk about. And my rant on why Cold Steel IV should NOT be you first Trails game. Thanks for listening!

Its a great week to be a JRPG gamer. Not only did we finally get Trails of Cold Steel IV, but we have some fun news to talk about. Bravely Default II got a release date of February 26, 2021, a slight delay from its 2020 goal. Cold Steel IV's digital release was all screwed up so we'll talk about it. My experience has be awesome so far! Final Fantasy XVI dropped a new website so I'll detail the characters and world of the game. Plus much more! Thanks for listening each week friends.

With The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV just a few days away, Jake and myself talk all about the series and this great upcoming game. We've both waited many long years for the End of Sage. Hype train level maxed out! The first half is spoiler free, but steer clear of the second half if you have not played all the games leading up to Cold Steel IV. We hope you enjoy our chat as we had so much fun recording it. Thanks for listening!!

Just 5 days until the epic End of Sage for the Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV hits PS4 owner's hands in the US. The wait has been forever for this end of a huge story arc. So I hype it up one last time! I'll give a full report next week. It seems the delay for US owners of the collector's edition won't happen now (sorry Europe), so all is well here. We had some new images and info about Disgaea 6, physical copies of classic Final Fantasy titles, and there won't be a physical version of PS5 Atelier Ryza 2. I rant about that last story and its implications at the end of the show. Thanks so much for listening!

It's good to be back! After a week away on vacation I'm so happy to bring you all the news in the JRPG world. Just today we learned about Atelier Ryza 2's western release date of January 26, 2021 in North America and January 29, 2021 in Europe. We talk about it and the new images released. I gush about my experience playing Genshin Impact while waiting for Trails of Cold Steel IV. Which I'll have to wait a bit longer for my collector's edition now too. So much to catch up on from the past two weeks! I hope you enjoy listening as much as I enjoy bringing you the news. See you again next week.

Please welcome back our friend Dalton to the podcast! In today's episode we will talk about a few things TGS, All about Persona 4 & 5, and what he thought of the Final Fantasy XVI reveal. And we get into many things non JRPG related but that's ok. It was a blast to record and we hope you enjoy listening to it as well. Search for his podcast The Steam Machine https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-steam-machine/id1517189195 on Apple and other listening platforms. Some mature topics discussed and spoilers for Persona 4 too.

Tokyo Game Show wrapped up Sunday, but a few news stories slipped few the cracks or came out this week. So we'll chat about Final Fantasy XVI, Yakuza: Like a Dragon, and a few others. Not much to chat about so it's a short episode. Vacation on JRPG island next week. Don't forget our Sunday Special with Dalton. Next new podcast will October 15. Thanks for listening!
