It's a busy week on the podcast. Nothing too juicy or in depth but a lot of fun. I've been playing the Genshin Impact closed beta for about 10 hours so want to give my initial impressions. Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris releases in a few days and there were 3 new trailers released for it. To end the podcast I give a Royal rant over Persona 5. You'll have to listen to see what about. Plus all the news of the week. Thanks for listening!

Sad news that broke last week leads the podcast. Most saw a delay coming for Tales of Arise. It has been pushed back outside of 2020. But it's not all sad news this week. We have some fun stories about Final Fantasy XIV, Trails games, and plenty of new trailers. All the week's JRPG stories in one place: The JRPG Report. Thanks for listening friends!

Sunday Specials were made for this: two JRPG lovers talking about some the recent games we've played. Jordan and myself hope you enjoy this fun hour and a half chat. We start off with the bad news of Tales of Arise's delay then switch in some Trails talk of Cold Steel and Sky. The second half is dedicated to the debate between Xenoblade Chronicles 1 and 2. Finally we dont hold anything back with our discussion of Final Fantasy VII Remake. The beginning is general talk and then you'll have an opportunity to stop listening. The last part of the podcast is spoiler central. Thanks for listening friends!

The New Game + Expo did not disappoint. For a new event, it was full of trailers and announcements. The most important one to myself was the release date for Legend of Heroes Trails of Cold Steel IV. It will come to the west on October 27, 2020. The Switch and PC versions come in 2021. We also finally confirmed Y's IX is coming to the west. So many trailers and announcements to cover. Thanks for listening!

I thought it would be a fun time to look back at the year at its midpoint. We've had so many great games already with more to come. So i'll dive into my top 10 most anticipated titles for 2020. We'll talk about the ones the already came out, got delayed, and ones that may not come out this year at all. Plus I have some listeners favorites too. Finally we'll list every JRPG yet to come out this year. We may well look back at 2020 as one of if not the best JRPG year ever. Thanks for listening!

The rumor was indeed true. Persona 4 Golden is now on PC via Steam. And for a great price of $19.99. It quickly became the most played JRPG on its servers. We also have several Pokemon stories from its livestream today and Kingdom Hearts showed a 2020 video with a brand new game. Cris Tales finally gave us a release date of November 17 along with a budget friendly price of $39.99. Plus many more news stories! It's a full week on Episode 118. Thanks for listening!

Sources have revealed that the beloved Vita JRPG Persona 4 Golden will be coming to PC on June 13. It's planned to be announced at the PC Gaming Show, in which Atlus said they had a big announcement. Shocking would be more accurate. Follow up report coming this weekend. As well as any news on the JRPG front from today's PS5 reveal showcase. We've got stories about Neptunia Virtual Stars, Mary Skelter Finale, and big sales on the Nintendo E-shop. Plus I clarify my early take on Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition. We're a day later than usual cause of work and life, but I hope you love this episode. It's a great time to be a gamer!
