Bruce Jenner made his big reveal as "her" on the front cover of Vanity Fair. He will now go by the name of Caitlyn Jenner. Although most comments were supportive of this change, some disagreed or were to nervous to disagree only because they felt they would be bullied for not supporting Caitlyn. In a world where almost anything goes, do we still have a right to our opinions?

We focus so much on white on black crime, but we must remember that black on black crime still exists as well and is a growing problem. How many more lives must be taken, before we put our guns down?

After the death of 25 years old Freddie Gray, we have come to a place in this country where we must question our police officers. How can we continue to trust the very people that are to protect and serve?

The death of Walter Scott has once again sparked national outrage and conversation about police brutality and racial discrimination. Regardless of what warrants Scott may have had, did he deserve to die by the hands of a police officer? What can we do as African Americans and a society to make sure that this never happens again or should we prepare for another senseless death?

Life can sneak up on us in a moment and we end up finding ourselves in trapped in daily routine of circles. We lose track of time and life passes us by. There comes a time when we must ask ourselves, "Am I truly happy with the life I live?" You might be surprised at the answer you find.

People that gossip can bring lots of negativity with them. If you don't like negativity in your life, make sure that a gossiper is not in your inner circle. If you have trouble getting away from someone who gossips, ask yourself, "Is it me? Am I a gossiper?" Gossiping about others never leads to good.

Pastor Creflo Dollar asked his congregation, as well as others that are willing, to help in raising over 60 million dollars for a high class jet, so he can spread the gospel. Do you really need to spread the gospel by way of a jet that cost millions? Are we really spreading the gospel or is this distracting from the true word of God? With so many struggling to survive, this request may not have been a smart one.
