Given that four weeks had passed since the murders, there's a possibility that Justin could have been exposed to details of the case through media coverage. This exposure might have influenced his recollection or interpretation of events. Additionally, there are reports suggesting that during the hypnosis session, the police might have inadvertently influenced Justin by making suggestions, which could have affected the reliability of his statements.

Tina’s Body Recovered

It's widely believed that Tina was at the scene during the Keddie cabin murders and was taken by the perpetrators. Her status as a minor prompted an immediate response involving the FBI in the initial search efforts. However, for reasons that remain unclear, the FBI ceased their investigation after about a month.

The mystery of Tina's whereabouts remained unsolved until April 22, 1984, three years after the murders. On this day, Ronald Pedrini made a significant discovery while he was in the woods approximately 90 miles southwest of Keddie. Reportedly while collecting cans, he came across a human skull and mandible, leading to a crucial breakthrough in the case.

When the remains were first discovered, investigators speculated that they might belong to a Native American individual. However, this initial assessment was soon challenged when an anonymous caller informed the Sheriff's office that the remains were those of Tina Sharp. Approximately two months later, a forensic analysis, specifically of the teeth, confirmed that the remains were indeed Tina’s.
