I don’t know if miscarriages are more common now or if people are starting to open up more about their experiences, but I’ll tell you one thing… miscarriage needs to be talked about more openly.

Whether you are someone who is or has experienced a miscarriage or you are someone who wants to know how to be there for a loved one, I wanted to talk with you about my experience and insights.  I’m here to share with you things we don’t talk about enough, how to support someone going through this, and some of the things that a miscarriage could look like.  I’m so thankful for the support system I had and if you need me to be that for you, just know that I’m here.

Don’t you wish you signed up for the “light shit” in life?  So if you are having a rough time with this go around, well, same.  Listen in to hear what the ever-unfolding rose has out for me (and maybe you).  Speaking of hard times, the next time someone is not so pleasant in your direction, just remember that they may be dealing with grief.  Or crippling back pain.  It’s the same in my book.  Also, we have horses and other animals - kept happy by Old McDonald Tim … and Google.

Recapping my trip to Austin, TX for our annual Beautycounter conference. We laughed, we danced, we took over Rainey street, we worked-ish but more importantly we met a cast of characters along the way. When the pandemic changed all of our lives, we were no exception to the great migration away from city life. And when we realized our Italy wedding was postponed we mended our wounds by selling our home (the one we had just finished renovating) and buying a six acre horse farm in a town we never heard of in Central Jersey to do it all over again.

In Tim's debut episode (!!!) we talk all about the process of buying this property, what renovation and construction is like during the state of the state and our favorite parts along the way.
