Ukeme Awakeassien Jeter is a force to be reckoned with. She came to America when she was 18 years old and has been kicking ass and taking names ever since. With multiple degrees under her belt, she's now the mayor of Upper Arlington, and the first person of color to ever hold this position. Here's to progress, and I'm cheering this incredible human on every step of the way!Â
Our conversation was real, fun, and I cannot wait to use my persuasive ways to lure her back in the studio VERY soon.

Tom Ryan is the head coach for the Ohio State wrestling team. He's a symbol of resilience and determination in the face of life's most profound challenges, and his message about chosen and unchosen suffering is one that will stick with me forever.
As an elite coach, Tom Ryan has guided the Ohio State wrestling team to greatness, turning young athletes into champions both on and off the mat. His relentless pursuit of excellence has garnered numerous accolades, including a 2015 national championship and the admiration of the wrestling community.
Yet, Tom Ryan's journey is about more than just wrestling triumphs. In a heart-wrenching twist of fate, he experienced the unimaginable loss of his son, Teague, when he was only 5 years old. This devastating event transformed Tom's perspective on life, sending him on a quest to search for a higher purpose in his life.
Tom is an incredible guy, and I am so grateful for his insights and for this conversation with him.
Thank you, Coach.

Quint & Laura Gage are an incredible couple who've been dealt more than their fair share of struggle. First came Quint's cancer battle, then losing their son Chase, and most recently, Quint's health scare.Â
I admire so much about these two people, but the way they show up and choose to Chase Life through it all, that's my biggest takeway.
This was such a raw and beautiful conversation and I'm so grateful to have crossed paths with the Gage Family.
Love you all dearly.Â

You might know Emily as an SOS trainer, but there's so much more to her than meets the eye. She's got her PHD in women's studies, she's run more miles than 10 people combined (and fast), she's the mom of 2 girls, she's done a TED Talk, and she was recently on The Smithsonian podcast. Impressed? Yeah, me too.
There's no doubt she has an impressive resume, but above it all she's a truly genuine person and I just think the world of her.
This episode packs a punch and I can't wait for you to hear it!

Steph Musser is one of my all-time favorite SOS trainers. Her no bullshit training style can scare me a little TBH, but there's no doubt that she brings out the best in me each time I take a class from her.
In this episode we talk about her strong personality and how athletics helped shape who she is. We also touch on her hubby, her journey to motherhood, and that time when she lived in Vegas.
Love you Steph!Â

Life is what happens when you’re busy making plans.
Just ask Katelyn Burkholder.
Her first plot twist came in when she and her husband decided they wanted to start a family. In 2012, after months of trying, she finally saw a positive pregnancy test only to end up in emergency surgery with an ectopic pregnancy.Â
In 2016, Katelyn decided to try again. This time, gearing up for an IVF round that would most definitely be the answer to their prayers.Â
Enter breast cancer.Â
Katelyn’s planned IVF cycle ends up being a fast track round of IVF to preserve her eggs before undergoing treatment to fight the cancer that now took center stage in her life.Â
As if this situation isn’t high stakes enough, Katelyn yielded one healthy baby boy embryo from that IVF cycle. He’s waiting patiently while Kaitlin fights the biggest battle of her life.Â
ONE. HEALTHY. BOY. EMBRYO.
Today, Katelyn is bravely facing her cancer journey with her bestie @itsthetleeshow right by her side, matching bald heads an’ all.
They’ve decided to start a TikTok page to document Katelyn’s journey, and to help other people touched by cancer feel seen, heard, and less alone. (With Tracey in the mix, they’ll also be wildly entertained.) You can find these besties on the Tok @bad.titty.committee
We’re all rooting for you Katelyn, and mark my words, we’re gonna find you the most PERFECT surrogate when the time is right. (Just dropping that lil’ nugget out into the universe.)

To know Dr. Shepherd is to love her. She's a wildly successful OB-GYN in Columbus, OH and I have never met a doctor who made me feel more special or seen than than this lovely lady.
She's been with me through my entire child loss/infertility journey, and through it all we've become lifelong friends.

Anyone who knows me understands that my journey to create a family has been riddled with seemingly insurmountable obstacles. A LOT of them.
In this episode, I have the pleasure of sitting with my surrogate, Skye, who's been such a highlight in the midst of our struggles.
This woman is so incredibly special to me and my family, and this experience with her is a shining example that life gives you gifts in the midst of the hardest circumstances.
