+++ ANXIETY ANYONE +++
Have you ever experienced anxiety in such a way that kept you back from doing something you wanted to do, needed to do or knew you should do?
Did you raise your hand?
Well, you are not the only one.
I've had my share of those moments.
I have used techniques like Mel Robbins' "5 Second Rule" to do things that I felt anxious about.
But what if you knew why you were anxious and how to normalize or calm the anxiety in your brain, would that be helpful?
Only if you said yes, should you listen to this episode. It was created with you in mind.

+++ AND IT'S NOT ABOUT RACISM +++
Before you rush to judgment and nail me to the cross, take a deep breath and read the heading in context.
Did you do that?
Now, is your reaction a bit less intense?
Maybe you didn't react or overreact at all. Maybe you do not operate with a knee-jerk reaction like so many people do.
At times, as leaders, we need to pull back from the noise and the crowd and make conclusions and decisions within a present context.
You probably are wondering what does all that mean? I would too until I listened to this episode of The Kingsley Grant Show and did so with an unbiased and impartial mindset. I invite you to do the same and then let's have a conversation. Agreed?.

+++ IT'S COMING IT'S HERE +++
For so many people, Monday morning is a dread. Are you one of those people?
They wish it was delayed by one more day and it it was, they would again wish it was one more day. Am I right?
But ready or not, it's coming or it's here. You and I cannot stop it.
It's like when you are just getting into deep sleep, it's time to get up and you wish it wasn't. But ready or not, that daylight is dawning.
So it is with Artificial Intelligence. It's coming and it's here.
The question is what do you do now that it's here.
In this episode I did my best to begin the conversation every leader need to have with their people and all workers need to hear.

+++ I QUIT +++
Have you ever use those words and actually followed through on them?
Or have you ever resigned from a job simply because you couldn't take it anymore?
How many people today are in jobs they hate but do only one thing ... complain? Hope that's not you.
On the other hand how many leaders have had people leave and have no clue as to the REAL reason why they did?
The sad part is that most times, these are their best talents.
What if you could hear directly from those who quit as to the reason why they left, would you be open to hearing?
In this episode, you're going to hear just that ... why they quit!

+++ YOU CAN WIN BUT LOSE +++
Have you ever heard this statement: you can win the battle but lose the war?
When I first heard it, it didn’t make sense to me. How can I win a battle but lose the war? Aren’t they the same?
I eventually found out that they were not. Did you find that out as well?
What I learned over time is that the battle is the immediate skirmish, just what’s before you, but the war is that which is beyond you — the bigger picture.
Is that how you've come to understand it?
This could not be more true than the 2019 World Cup Women’s Soccer Team. Really? How so?
Take a listen to this episode and listen to me explode on this theme of winning a war but losing the battle.

+++ HANDS UP +++
In general I do not like to admit to my weaknesses. I know what they are and I know the feelings generated whenever my weaknesses are exposed. One thing I can tell you, it doesn't feel good.
Because I know what they are and how I feel when they are exposed, I try my best to work on overcoming, strengthening, or compensating for them to save face.
The last thing I want to do is raise my hands, acknowledging that I'm lacking in an area I think I should not be lacking in.
How silly is that.
When I went back to college to get my masters degree, wasn't that an acknowledgment that I was lacking in an area and needed to strengthen it with more education? Think about it.
So it is in leadership. There might be some things you are lacking that would make you a more effective leader. What could they be? Take a listen to this episode of The Kingsley Grant Show.

+++ ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER +++
Have you ever heard this phrase, thought about it, or said it: "Walk the talk?"
I have experienced all three.
Recently I spoke to one of my sisters and she reminded me of a phrase our mom would say to us from time to time. The phrase may not be as impactful in its written form as it is when spoken.
But here is what she would say: "Mouth turn crossway to say anything."
As I mentioned, hearing it in the Jamaican dialect--patois, pronounced "patwah"--is more impactful.
It simply means that people will say anything but not do as they say.
Do you know anyone like this?
In this episode of the Kingsley Grant Show, you'll hear the 7 Qualities of Unforgettable leaders and draw your own conclusion based on your experience.

+++ SPARE ME ANOTHER ONE +++
Do you enjoy going to the office/staff/board meetings?
Do you find yourself tensing up when it's time to go to a meeting simply because you know it's gonna be "one of those?"
What if you could change how meetings are conducted or simply get rid of some of them, would you do so?
I've had my share of meetings and I can tell you that I didn't enjoy some of them. Actually, I would sit there wondering, "why am I here?"
Elon Musk to the rescue ...
... he has some rules that may have you rethink meetings.
Want to know his rules?
Listen to this episode of the Kingsley Grant Show and find out 9 of his 11 rules.

+++ AT WHAT ALTAR +++
Every one of us has at one time or another uttered words these words: "I know I should ..."
Have you?
When you did, what were you referring to? Do you recall?
Here's the most important question, "Are you doing that today?"
There are 5 areas of our lives we need to make sure we are guarding against sacrificing at the altar of our work/business. Do you wanna know what they are?
If so, listen to this episode of The Kingsley Grant Show. You might be surprised. Also, hear parts of my story. Ouch!

+++ NIKE BLEW IT +++
This is a strong statement. What did they blow?
It all depends on whom you ask.
There are people on both sides of the aisle who passionately argue for or against Nike's decision to pull their Betsy Ross Flag Shoe from the market.
Should they have done it or should they not have?
Or could it have been avoided altogether?
This is what you will hear on this episode of The Kingsley Grant Show and more importantly, what they blew. You will be surprised to find it's not the decision to pull the shoe.
