  • Blade Runner 2049
Chris and Eric are joined by Rainbow Comics' assistant manager Dana Christensen and staff writer Ash Suri to talk about one of the most anticipated films of the year Blade Runner 2049.  The film stars Ryan Gosling as a blade runner who is tasked with covering up a secret that could fundamentally shake the foundations of their society all of which leads back to Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford). The film is a modern sci-fi masterpiece that features stunning visuals, an emphatic score, and masterful direction from Denis Villeneuve.

  • Kingsman: The Golden Circle
Chris and The No Name Photo Show's Brian Matiash talk the newest film in the Kingsman franchise, Kingsman: The Golden Circle. The film stars Taron Egerton as the returning Kingsman Eggsy who is tasked with taking down a villain hell-bent on ending the Kingsman forever. It's derivative and too long follow-up to a decent first outing.

  • Maggie
Chris and Eric wrap up Schwarzenegger September with a look at not only Arnie's first dramatic role but also his first zombie film Maggie. The film stars Arnie as a father tasked with taking care of his daughter, played by Abigail Breslin, who is slowly succumbing to a zombie plague. It's a reserved, quieter film than we are used to with the bombastic Austrian but in a good way.

  • It (2017)
Chris and Eric talk one of the year's most hotly anticipated films that looks to break the cycle of disappointing Stephen King adaptations It. The film stars Bill Skarsgård as the eponymous killer clown as he terrorizes the town of Derry in the mid-'80s. He is opposed by the Loser's Club, a group of teenagers hell-bent on stopping his murderous rampage.

  • Red Heat
Chris and Eric are joined by filmmaker Oscar Moreno as they talk about that one time Arnold Schwarzenegger donned a Russian accent opposite Jim Belushi in Red Heat. The film stars the two as policemen tasked with tracking down a Georgian drug lord who has come to Chicago to peddle his heroin. It's a good, not great buddy cop film which is a disappointment since it stars Arnie.

  • The Hitman's Bodyguard
Chris is joined by Crimson Son author Russ Linton to talk about a film that may or may not be a love story between Deadpool and Nick Fury: The Hitman's Bodyguard. The film stars Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson as a bodyguard tasked with protecting a psychotic hitman who is needed at a prosecution of a warlord. It's a buddy comedy that hits some of the right notes but misses the mark as well.

  • In a Glass Cage
Chris is joined by The Projection Booth's Mike White to talk another controversial film that spans the gamut of disturbing topics including pedophilia, Nazis, and rape: In a Glass Cage. The film stars Gunter Meisner as Klaus, a Nazi who is stuck in an iron lung after attempting to kill himself and is visited by a former victim who he had molested. It's a disturbing look at humanity, torture, and the fetishization of helplessness.

  • Annabelle: Creation
Chris and Eric sit down to talk about the newest film in The Conjuring universe, Annabelle: Creation along with an interview with David F. Sandberg, the film's director. The film stars Talitha Bateman as Janice and Lulu Wilson as Linda with the film focusing on the two orphans as they attempt to thwart the nefarious actions of the demonic doll. It's a fantastic prequel to the Conjuring films and rights many of the wrongs of the first Annabelle prequel.

  • Nekromantik
Chris and Eric are joined by Rainbow Comics manager Dana Christensen to discuss a film that is still banned thirty years after its release due to its portrayal of necrophilia Nekromantik. The film stars Daktari Lorenz as Rob, a man obsessed with making love to corpses by himself and with his wife. It's an unsettling look at not only human sexuality but also the lines of morality we dare not cross.

  • The Dark Tower
Chris and Eric are joined by Crimson Son author Russ Linton to journey to Mid-World for a look at an adaptation ten years in the making The Dark Tower. The film stars Idris Elba as Roland Deschain and Matthew McConaughey as the Man in Black as Roland attempts to stop the oncoming darkness and save the Dark Tower. It's a lackluster, muddied affair that falls flat and hurts any chances of future adaptations of King's seminal piece.
