Robnett says the nexus of the crime is drug addicted repeat criminals and the lenient Washington drug possession law is fueling a lot of Pierce County crime. Robnett says if the WA Legislature doesn't act in the next 2 months to fix the drug possession law drugs will be de-facto legal, the dilemma over holding drug users (and/or criminal drug users) accountable within a treatment program, how the WA police pursuit restrictions have become "a get out jail free card" to criminals, "police are powerless to pull over your vehicle", "astronomical increase" in car thefts is a by-product of the police pursuit restrictions, Robnett gives her solution to get better results for rehabilitation and treatment for drug addicts caught committing crimes, how a disproportional amount of crime victims are people of color in WA right now.

A suspected mail thief was shot and killed by a resident near Port Orchard in Kitsap County late Monday night, Jan. 9th, 2023. No specifics yet from authorities but KVI's John Carlson examines whether or not this could potentially be described as a vigilante killing. Was the suspected criminal fleeing? Did the 39-year-old shooter call police after the shooting? These are all key questions right now. More questions are arising like what jury or judge is going to put this 39-year-old man in jail for shooting a suspected thief. And there's a bigger picture to this fatal shooting: if Puget Sound politicians can't control crime problems and repeat criminals, eventually we're going to have residents who are prepared to take the law into their own hands. This shooting is directly connected to Gov. Jay Inslee, WA Democrats and prosecutors in Seattle who have allowed crime to go un-checked.

It's a harsh reality of 2022 in Washington. Three Bellingham School District administrators facing criminal citation for failing to report the sexual assault of a student to police are being reassigned within the school district. KVI's John Carlson is wondering why the three administrators aren't being fired for failure to report the rape. Ostensibly, the school district might be waiting for due process to play out in the court system for the three administrators before any consideration of firing them, however there was very little to no due process for many government employees across Washington (at the state, county and city level) who were summarily fired for deciding not to receive the COVID vaccine shot. So as of 2022, in Washington, you lose your job over a COVID shot but you only get re-assigned if you fail to report the rape of a school student to police.

Among them, 1.) all future Congressional bills will be limited to a single subject, 2.) no more 'proxy' voting by members not on the Capitol campus, 3.) 72 hour requirement before voting on a bill, 4.) any mandatory spending increases off-set by mandatory spending cuts, 5.) any tax increases will now require a 60% super-majority (which is what WA voters enacted two decades ago).
