State Senator, Manka Dhingra (Redmond-D), from the 45th Legislative District has announced she will block a bi-partisan bill with both Democratic and Republican legislator sponsors that would revise the current law on police pursuits that critics say has increased stolen car crime and drivers refusing to stop when police attempt to pull over the vehicle. KVI's John Carlson examines Dhingra's justification for blocking the bills-- one of which has 40 co-sponsors in the 98 member House of Representatives. Carlson says Dhingra is "not paying attention to facts, evidence and logic" on the bi-partisan bills that would reform WA's disastrous police pursuit laws.
