Being an American in the NLL is difficult. It is a game that has been played brilliantly by Indigenous and Canadian players for decades, but in more recent years, Americans have switched over to the box game instead of playing the field game to enhance their lacrosse skills. The Toronto Rocks Tom Schreiber is arguably the best American to play in the NLL, and he is proving why this NLL season.

It's not ever season that you get to witness historic greatness in the NLL. In fact, it's quite rare, which is what makes it historic.
