The Last One is a game about fears. It is a game about the hope to save what you love. It is about all that has been lost and destroyed by the End. The Last One is a game for two people that tries to reproduce the feeling of a horror movie, building the setting on the player's own fears.
It started with the lizards. Maybe a virus, maybe the lizards themselves, maybe something completely unrelated that those few left will never understand. Either way, it didn’t take long for the 6000 year long experiment they egotistically called “civilization” to wash away like an abandoned sand castle. It’s impossible to say how many days those unlucky survivors have left, but for one man, we are quickly approaching
