Returning to school is a bit of normalcy, at least when it used to happen at the end of summer. But it's a bigger deal now, as the pandemic is becoming less of a concern, and the Homelanders are returning, in some cases, for the first time in a year.

(It's also true, though, that children change so much year to year that their lives are already changing frequently, so a year like this might not be as difficult as for adults. Maybe...)
