I am joined today by the amazing golf queen Azucena Maldonado! As an immigrant from northern Mexico, Azucena is a Latina that has inspired a movement that has taken over the world of golf. After playing golf recreationally, Azucena noticed the absence of Latina women in the golfing world, and she knew that she had to make a change to show them that getting involved in golf could provide them great opportunities. 

 Azucena is the founder and CEO of the Latinas Golfers Association that has over 2,000 members. Azucena’s mission with LGA is to introduce women of all ages to the game of golf in order to develop them professionally, personally, and promote a healthy lifestyle.
