I like visualizing a lot, so the night before a competition and right before, I will visualize myself. I'll close my eyes, turn away from everybody, and just see myself doing exactly what I want to accomplish." -- Kacy Catanzaro
Kacy Catanzaro nicknamed The #MightyKacy, is the first woman to qualify for the finals of the American Ninja Warrior. I am a big fan of American Ninja Warrior. I love watching these athletes compete to be the first American to become a Ninja Warrior Champion. This is a tough competition and it takes special skills.Athletes like #MightyKacy have to set goals and work hard to get to the level they are and compete in these events. This isn't just track and field, it isn't just lifting weights, it isn't just being muscular. You have to be fit! You have to be flexible, physically and mentally.
You have to use visualization to see yourself not only slapping that button on that last obstacle, but completing each and every obstacle perfectly. You have to see yourself doing EXACTLY what you want to accomplish, just like the #MightyKacy does. You can check Kacy Catanzaro out at her website www.kacycatanzaro.com/#kacycatanzaro On Twitter as @KacyCatanzaro and following #MightyKacy [bctt tweet=" I like visualizing a lot, so the night before a competition and right before, I will visualize myself. David Seabury
Try out your ideas by visualizing them in action. -- David Seabury
This is a short and simple quote with great meaning built in. To me, it is critical to use visualization when trying to Get The Goals You Set. Visualizing you ideas, your dreams, your goals, gives you a chance to try them out. It's like going to the biggest store and being able to play with all of the gadgets, toys, stuff and see what it does.
By using Visualization, you can put your goals, dreams and ideas into action. You can SEE Yourself Doing it. You can see your self being the person you want to be. You can picture yourself perfectly executing whatever you need to do to Win!
Don't do this while you are driving, please, but when you get home in a safe, comfortable place
Sit Down
Take 5 deep breaths - Inhale deeply
Close your eyes lightly
Take 5 more deep breaths - Inhale deeply
Start thinking about your favorite, most happy, excited place.
Get a vision of that favorite place in your mind.
When you have a good vision of that place in your mind - take your hand and place them palms together softly.
Take 5 Deep breaths. Then slowly open your eyes.
When you do this at home, you should get relaxed and be able to visualize your happy place where you are your most excited.
I am going to put together a visualization audio for you to start working on a visualization exercise. This exercise here will start preparing you to visualize yourself in your comfortable, happy place. We will grow the exercise from there.
Stay tuned for more.
Go out and make today a great day.

When I cut the feet out of my pantyhose that one time, I saw it as my sign. I had been visualizing being self employed prior to this happening. It was my mental preparation meeting the opportunity in that moment.
-- Sara Blakely Sara Blakely, the founder and owner of Spanx had visualized herself being self-employed before the cut the feet out of her pantyhose. As soon as she cut them, she saw it as her sign to start her business. Sara Blakely had been preparing herself mentally by visualizing herself being self-employed. She could see herself in the role as a business owner. She didn't have a product to sell at the time, or a true business, but as soon as she did the right thing to trigger the meeting of preparation and opportunity, she was set to be what she had visualized. By using visualization, your mind can start to see things that could bring about those visions. It know what you want, and when situations arise and opportunities show up, then it is automatically ready to answer that call. Without the mental preparation of seeing yourself as successful, the opportunities you have that show up are likely to go unrecognized as opportunities.
I am a big believer in visualization. I run through my races mentally so that I feel even more prepared.
-- Allyson Felix "Who is Allyson Felix?", you might ask. One of the fastest women on the planet is the answer. Allyson competed in the 2012 London Olympics and is working on her return in Rio. I have not doubt she will make it. I watched her run in 2012 and was amazed at her form, her grace and her speed! I'm willing to bet she is already visualizing herself crossing the finish line with a new personal best. When you visualize yourself doing something, you want to make it your best every time. Allyson says in her quote that she runs through her races mentally so that she can feel prepared. When you do this, it allows the mind to be able to learn what to expect in every situation. Many athletes visualize all of the possibilities, including the things that can go wrong. They then are able to visualize how they will handle it and what they will do to continue to achieve the goal. This mental preparedness will make it easier for you to respond if it happens and you will be able to react quickly and confidently. You want to get the prize! You want to do your best time. You want to see your biggest paycheck. Whatever your goal is, you want to SEE You Doing It. You Can Do It!Go out and Make Today A Great Day

Today we continue with the Visualization series of quotes. Visualization is key to being successful in a lot of areas, especially sports. Today's Quote stresses visualization but also another area of Goal Getting that is very important.
Today's quote is:
What I think a lot of great marathon runners do is envision crossing that finish line. Visualization is critical. But for me, I set a lot of little goals along the way to get my mind off that overwhelming goal of 26.2 miles. I know I've got to get to 5, and 12, and 16, and then I celebrate those little victories along the way. -- Bill Rancic
Bill Rancic is best know from season 1 of The Apprentice where he was the first contestant to ever hear the words, "Your Hired!"
Since then Bill has gone on to do many things. Today he is a Husband and Father, a Restauranteur, an Entrepreneur, a Speaker, TV Host, an Author and Philanthropist. Bill is someone that knows how to set goals.
He also uses a technique that we discuss in the Goal Getting, Don't Just Set'em, Get'em Program. We recommend setting goals that are out of your comfort zone, then breaking them down into smaller, shorter-term goals.
Bill and other marathon runners use visualization to envision themselves crossing the finish line.
Bill goes further in breaking down the 26.2 miles in to smaller goals and then like we teach in Goal Getting, he celebrates the little victories along the way. The step of Rewarding yourself for the small victories is also one of the 9 Steps To Successful Goal Achievement, and discussed in my eBook, which you can sign up for and download for free on the sidebar.
Be like Bill and visualize yourself achieving your goals. Break your long-term goals into smaller goals and when you achieve any of your goals, celebrate them.
