Today I sit down, a week and a half after my law school graduation with a glass of wine + my emotions all over the place to really share how I'm feeling post grad. This isn't my first rodeo but something about this being my doctorate degree + the amount of personal growth I have accomplished alongside my degree has me feeling really proud + in awe of myself. I get candid on confidence, not being emotional about graduating (when you think you would be), moving back in with your parents OR moving to a new city, adult friendships after college/grad school and working remotely. I share my post grad life + career plans aka the bar exam, my 3 weeks in Europe Bar Trip, working as an Influencer Marketing Consultant and once licensed, attorney, running my own businesses (!!) and my bigger vision for my life + more. Today I sit down with my law school BFF, my ride or die Yasmin, who is my law school mentor, one of the first people I met at UTK Law ever and the person that helped me get through it the last 3 years. We don't see each other everyday now like we used to but whenever we are together we have a blast reminiscing, gossiping and of course reflecting on law school and all the ups and downs of being a lawyer (for her, she's been practicing 2 years!) 

We had an impromptu girls weekend in a random cabin in middle TN and decided to record a wine night chat all about these ups and downs and lessons we learned along the way. We also talk about her experience with the Bar Exam during peak covid no less, OCIs to get a job, journals and getting involved on campus during law school. Plus she shares her experience in BigLaw which is highly coveted but not always spoken candidly about so I'm especially excited for this convo. I get asked so often my advice and tips for law school but I'm only one person with one experience so I love being able to use this podcast to share others with you in addition to mine.

She has some incredible advice and insight that I've been privy to for the last years and I am so grateful for our friendship so I hope you enjoy a sneak peak into it and gain some valuable tips about life, career and more. Today I sit down with my friend Fiorella Bianchi, a licensed clinical social worker in Miami who started off as a theater kid and is now a major yogi and a beautiful resource for mental health, self care and healing. We talk a lot about her job as a social worker in a school setting, the various career paths one can have as a social worker and what it means to be a social worker. Its like a late night happy hour with a new friend you just click with and its so special to really connect on such a deep level so fast which is a testament to the incredible energy Fiorella has. Since we met almost 2 months ago she has become such a great friend and light in my DMs and life and I am honored to share her and this conversation with you!

With this two part Mental Health Awareness Month series my goal was to highlight that our personal stories of mental health and healing can lead us to a life of abundance and I hope these two episodes resonated and encouraged you to pursue what sets your soul on fire and what makes you feel good. Today I sit down with my dear friend Scout Sobel, the multi faceted, inspirational founder of Scout's Agency, the best selling author of the Emotional Entrepreneur and the host of the Emotional Entrepreneur podcast and cohost of Okay Sis podcast with her sister Mady. I mean this resume! We get candid on all things mental health and how her bipolar disorder changed her life in the best way, led her to the career path she's on today and to living a life of abundance, support and alignment. 

Her book, the Emotional Entrepreneur is the handbook for entrepreneur's everywhere who are not willing to sacrifice themselves and their mental health and the quotes at the beginning of each section are my fave and I have learned so many lessons about myself from reading. She shares her crazy writing process and the story of how this book came about which I loved! 10/10 recommend you check it out alongside her two podcasts.

A common theme on this podcast is nonlinear paths and Scout's story is the definition of that. I hope this encourages you to go on a journey of self discovery, recovery, healing, growth and self love. The opportunities that will come your way once you begin to do the work and live in abundance will blow you away in the absolute best way. Her story is truly one everyone needs to hear and we can all learn so much from Scout and her vulnerability, I am honored to be able to share it with all of you!
