Today I wanted to do a little mini solo episode on a topic that is near and dear to my heart. Something I have been really working on in therapy the last month is focusing and reframing on the bigger picture. But how do you know what that bigger picture is? That's a question I've been getting a lot in my DMs so I wanted to share more about it than on stories.

The key is knowing your WHY. Why are you doing the things you're doing, studying what you are, your job, living where you ate, etc... there's so many layers to this but for me the most important thing is that they all connect together by a common thread. That is how you will be able to see the bigger picture for your life, create the vision you want for yourself and work towards it no matter what life throws your way. Today I sit down with Molly Kate, a body image mentor and expert and we get candid on how she went from studying to be an athletic trainer to her discovery of intuitive eating and her coaching women on their relationship with food and their bodies. We also talk about the history and layers of body image and diet culture in society as well as eating disorders, the spectrum of disordered eating and more. 

I share my own experience with my body image and my evolving relationship with food as well. Molly also gives tips on how to improve our relationship with food and wellness, from planned eating to how we feel about food, there's so much impactful info. Today I sit down with my classmate and friend Bryce and we chat about how and why she decided to go to law school and why she chose UTK Law. I'm so excited to chat with a 1L to get her experience, especially as she has navigated it all during Covid. I truly cannot believe its my final semester of law school and I graduate in less than 4 months !!!  I wouldn't be nearly half the person I am today had I not come to law school and in this week's episode I share why. I have learned so much and grown tremendously the last 2 1/2 years, I only wish you could see how much. I have documented a lot of it on my blog and IG though so there's that, but my evolution was way more than just personal, mental, emotional and academically, it was spiritually and profoundly.
