Today I sit down with my friend and fellow Miami girl Sacha and we really go there about navigating a nonlinear path to career success, from playing the harp to wanting to be a doctor to working in PR and social media. Sacha also shares her story of experiencing loss at a young age and her beautiful story of how she found her partner through it all. This is a story all about perseverance, grit and finding happiness and what you're meant to do through the ups and downs in life. I know its a long one but this episode was so special and I really hope that we can make an impact and help those who have or are experiencing something similar.

Today I'm coming to you live from Breckenridge, Colorado on our annual family trip and I am so freaking excited for this episode! Join me as I reflect on all that I've grown in 2021, the lessons I learned and how far I've come personally, academically, emotionally and professionally. I also start a new tradition of giving the new year a word I want to embody and live for during the year. As I enter my final semester of law school and embark on my adult, professional life on my own terms I cannot wait to see where life, friendship, travel, my career aspirations and 2022 takes me!

Everyone needs a study break right? Today in between family law outlines and when I should be either catching up on sleep or studying, I sit down to ramble about how I'm really doing lately. If you follow me on IG you know I'm very open about my struggles with mental health and I've shared recently that I started therapy again. I wanted to go in detail about all thats happening in my life and why I've decided now is the time, plus I spill some friendship advice, my dating woes and my inner struggle with my career. I'm v tired and v hangry in this episode bc it was 1 am as I recorded but sharing with you all the BTS and what really goes into what you see on IG (on my account and others) I knew this episode was meant to be - just like everything else in life, if its meant to be it will be so have a little faith!

I know what you're thinking by the title of this episode, but hear me out! I was inspired by the quote at the end during her graduation speech and let me just say I got EMOTIONAL. I can't believe I'm about to graduate law school and I am so grateful I got to where I am today unapologetically and unafraid to be myself, in true Elle Woods fashion.  

Here's the quote - 10/10 recommend saving it: On our very first day at Harvard, a very wise Professor quoted Aristotle: "The law is reason free from passion." Well, no offense to Aristotle, but in my three years at Harvard I have come to find that passion is a key ingredient to the study and practice of law -- and of life. It is with passion, courage of conviction, and strong sense of self that we take our next steps into the world, remembering that first impressions are not always correct. You must always have faith in people. And most importantly, you must always have faith in yourself.
