On the May 7th, 2014 episode of Liberal Dan Radio:

Last week I discussed the Oklahoma governor's refusal to follow the stay of execution ordered by the OK Supreme court and the legislature using the threat of impeachment to force the court to eliminate the stay. I will go into more details about what happened and some of the dodges that several Conservatives have tried to use to avoid that subject.

The White House Correspondents' Dinner was  held over the weekend. President Obama had some great delivery and some great lines. I will review some of the comments made.

Finally, at 8:30 I will be bringing on Paul Leonard, candidate running to represent Southern California in Congress. We will be discussing his campaign and taking your calls.

And then from Rednecks to older businessmen and racism. LA Clippers owner Donald Sterling has also, allegedly, come out making some horrible comments about race. I will go over some of the words made and discuss why this is worse than some people are giving him "credit" for.

Finally, Liberal Dan Radio continues the #RetakeCongress segment by inviting candidate for Congress in the 6th district of Texas David Cozad.

On the April 16, 2014 episode of Liberal Dan radio.

SCIENCE! I went to Tulane University on Monday to see Neil deGrasse Tyson speak about a plethora of different things. He was really great. If you have seen him speak about science before you would know that he is really awesome but in person made it that much better. I will review some of the things that he went over in his presentation and why I believe he could go into a career in politics and be awesome at it. He is not only brilliant, but he also has a love for this country that allowed his genius to grow.

As Dr. Tyson seeks to make our nation smarter, the Food Babe is helping to dumb down our nation. She is responsible for getting Subway to remove the "yoga mat ingredient" from their bread recipie. She is now trying to claim that the Doubletree Hotel has anti-freeze in the free cookies given to guests. I will explain why her tactics are irresponsible.

I will also be talking about the Bundy family and their standoff with the federal government. Nothing shouts hypocrisy more than a bunch of loudmouth teabaggers.

Finally, I will also talk about poker star Phil Ivey. He is facing potential charges for what a casino calls cheating. But is it really cheating? Does government go too far to protect casinos? I will go into that as well.

On the April 9, 2014 episode of Liberal Dan Radio:

Hashtags galore have been created dealing with the dissapointment some twitter users have with Stephen Colbert and Bill Maher over jokes made on their shows. Common consensus among those who are angry is that as white men they shouldn't be making those jokes. Supporters of the shows suggest that perhaps intent should matter. I will go into my opinions of the statements made, including where Suey Park lost me, and about the backlash against hashtag activism.

Tuesday was #equalpayday. But what does the main point of #equalpayday leave out?

Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal was rebuked by the courts who affirmed the stance of Liberal Dan Radio that he has no idea what the first amendment means. I will go a little more into this.

Finally, Louisiana Congressman Vance McAllister was caught on film making out with one of his female staffers (who he fired on #equalpayday). When will the GOP stop being taken seriously as the party of "family values"?

More discussion on the SCOTUS case about oral contraception and the Affordable Care Act. New information now shows Hobby Lobby is quite hypocritical in its issues is has with oral contraception being offered as a benefit in the health insurance policies it provides in lieu of salary.

I will also be having a conversation with Ronny Richards, candidate for Congress in Ohio's second district as part of my #RetakeCongress campaign.

Finally, as a last minute addition, I will be talking about today's Supreme Court ruling on "free speech" and campaign finance law. Just how dumb are the drab five?

Have you ever wished you had a way to make sure that the items you purchase are not funding causes you disagree with? The old fashioned way of protesting when companies supported causes you did not agree with was to join a large group and to make a large show of it and hope others will join in. Well, I am going to talk to Austen Hoogan, creator of the idea called CottBot, and discuss his upcoming crowd-funding campagn to support this free mobile application. Instead of boycotting one business for violating one of your ideals, you can boycott all businesses who violate all your ideals.

Then I will be discussing #retakeCongress, the hashtag I will be using to discuss the upcoming 2014 elections and what needs to be done to take  Congress back. First up is Ron Dickey, candidate for Congress in the MS01 Congressional district. I will discuss with Ron how his campaign is going, what his priorities would be when he goes to Congress, and how he intends on making that a reality.

And then I will discuss the candidacy of Edwin Edwards for Congress in Louisiana's 6th congressional district. Yup, he went ahead and did it. And I will talk about it some more becuase it is important.

I will first discuss a horrible attack ad I saw today by Cynthia Hedge-Morrell and explain why she is no better than Senate Conservatives.

I review what happened at CPAC. Straw polls, random musing, speeches, hypocrisy and all the other "good stuff" that can only come from a convention of tea party supporters.

I will also bring up charter schools. With what is going on in New York there has been some additional chatter happening about if these charter schools best serve the community. Some schools may have success. But at what cost?

Finally, Bobby Jindal has yet again proven himself to be a hypocrite. I will explain why this is nothing new.

On the March 5th 2014 episode of Liberal Dan Radio:

Good old Vlad Putin is at it again, this time invading the Ukraine. Of course this means the Conservatives are at it again as well. The warmonger side of the party just wants to blow everything up it can. The tea party side finds fault with everything Obama does. And some people who are sandwiched in between the establishment GOP and the Tea Party are proving themselves to be major hypocrites (beyond the normal Conservative hypocrisy).

In news related to the Ukraine, people are now hailing Palin as a genius for supposedly predicting Putin going into Ukraine. They are also suggesting that Obama is handling the situation irresponsibly by "missing" security meetings. I will go into why that is a bunch of rubbish as well.

A student in New Jersey is suing her parents to cover tuition for High School and College and for other expenses pertaining to her being dependent on her parents for support. She does seem like a spoiled brat but I will discuss why many people are missing some very important facts here and how the parents are no angels either.

I will discuss what I am giving up for Lent and discuss if the lenten season is really a sacrifice to those of use who are not land locked.

Finally, I will go over some of the shootings I have discussed from Merritt Landry to Marissa Alexander.
