We're back this Thursday at 5:30 PM EST with another exciting episode of More Than A Title, as we special guest, Former WBO Middleweight Champion, Peter Quillin.
Peter was born in 1983 in Chicago, Illinois but was raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He is a Christian.
During his amateur boxing career, he had 15 fights, and soon after the tall, aggressive fighter turned pro in New York. He said his early life involved "Homelessness, a rotten childhood, no love in my household growing up, drugs, sexual assault, and with all these things he experienced in life, him being successful was nothing short of a miracle.
He has a professional boxing record of 34-2-2 with 23 of those wins coming by way of knockout. He was also trained and coached by the legendary trainer, Freddy Roach, and notable career wins against Hall of Famer, Winky Wright, and actually made him retire.
I had the pleasure of meeting the champ at an event earlier this year and I was truly moved by his story and knew I had to have him to share his story and what's he's overcome to be successful.
