If you run a business, one thing you need to get rid of is money blocks. I’ve made a list of exercise to remove your money blocks, just like I did.

Journalling

In the first part of this episode, I’m going to give you some questions that can help you reveal beliefs around money that you didn’t know you had. Why? Because once you make something conscious, you can choose to keep it or chuck it.

I invite you to listen to this episode once, then go back again and write down all the questions. You can use these as daily journalling prompts or maybe you want to give yourself an afternoon to do a “mass clearing”.

Money blocks don’t need to be a “thing” you have for life. You can remove and rewrite them. I’m living proof of that. Plus, when you change your money blocks, everything in your life changes.

I’ve read A LOT of books about money. I’m a Sacred Money Archetype Coach. Plus I focus a lot of my NLP work around success mindset and it almost always includes money.

I went back through all of this work to share with you some of the information I found priceless in my road to an abundance Mindset. All of the exercises in this episode literally create a Money Masterclass for you (if you do the work!). Please schedule the time to do this work. I really wish I’d known about this when I first started out in business. Instead, I lived through 5 years of “money hell” because money blocks paralysed me in so many ways.

I’m always being asked how someone should price their services. There are no hard and fast rules. It’s not “charge your worth”, “market price” or “pick a number”. I wanted to share with you these 5 things to consider that will help you define YOUR pricing.

I detest hearing this. Worth is contextual and subjective. I’ll give you my definition.

What Lifestyle Do You Want?

So many people don’t think about the longer game. They’re stuck in “I just need… the next client/enough to/to pay the..”. And it’s really hard to break that thinking.

Thinking longer term, about the lifestyle you want for you and your family is essential.

What Kind Of Clients Do You Want?

Would you except a different level of service between Harrods and Walmart? Why? And what happens when you apply that to your customers?

What kind of clients is your pricing attracting?

Try Different Outfits On

Another pet hate is, “just double your rates”. Yes, I’ve said this a couple of times but as a general rule, it’s not something I advocate. Learn to be comfortable with stepping in to the next outfit, getting comfortable and then moving on to the next one.

Set The Price Then Build The Value

This is something one of my mentors taught me. Pick the price and then make sure you build the value in to match.

I love Autumn and I want to share with you why it’s your second chance for success

I was drawn to record this podcast whilst I was out walking Toffee (my delectable dog). The smell of Autumn was in the air, acorns adorned the floor and the energy of transformation was palpable.

There are two types of people

So I see (and have been) two types of people. The first group are those that believe that they’ve “left it too late”. They’ll write off the rest of 2019 and swear to themselves they’ll get their sh*t together in 2020.

The other group are determined so smash the end of 2019, because we have a whole 1/4 left after all. And they also understand that 2020 rolls directly off the back of the energy and intention of how we end 2019.

Change is painful. And I want to teach you how you can do it anyway.

Under normal circumstances, we would never CHOOSE to put ourselves through pain. Unfortunately, we need to make an exception for CHANGE.

The basis of change….

Is that want something that we don’t currently have. Whether its a different body shape; bigger bank account; more passion in our relationship or greater success in business, it’s different to what we have now.

To get what we have now, we had certain thought processes, strategies and behaviours. We are used to them. They are safe. And comfortable. Even if you don’t particularly like being where you are.

Just thinking about…

Changing those habitual thoughts and actions is enough to create a cascade of questioning and fearful thoughts. They will have a corresponding physical and physiological response in the body. Brains are hard wired to prioritise safety, so invariably this unconscious response is screaming “NOT SAFE, NOT SAFE”.

To appease these feelings, all we have to say is, “OK, I’ll stay exactly where I am”. Phew. That’s OK if you don’t ever want more in your life. But what if you do? Because we all want more don’t we?

I think we underestimate just how much Influence plays a part in our daily lives.

However, I’ve recently noticed just how many people risk sabotaging their influence by the way they communicate and interact on social media.

This week, I put a post up in a Facebook group that ended up creating some challenging conversations. I’ll admit, my first reaction was shame and then anger. Then I dropped in to my heart and asked myself, “What would someone who wanted to have a positive impact do?”.

Truth is only a perception

We need to remember that our “truth” is simply a perception we have about an event. This is based on our past, memories, experiences, values and motivations. No-one will have exactly the same opinion. And they don’t need to.

Here’s how NOT to measure your results

Yes, we’ve all heard of SMART goals and KPI’s….

We know we “should” have our goal posts marked out; our long term plan and track our numbers.

I’m going to be honest… this is still something I rebel against so it’s a Work In Progress.

What I do know

is how I DON’T measure my results. And I would recommend that you do the same. Because if you are measuring in this way, you are leaking energy, motivation and desire.

It doesn’t take courage to do what everyone else is doing. It takes tremendous courage to find out more about YOU.

Stay in your lane

What the world needs now is more people like YOU. Shining your unique light so freaking brightly we all need to put our Ray Ban’s on. And that means digging deep. Creating our own song sheet.

There are no awards for playing small

We don’t know what we don’t know. I used to envy people who could dream big. When I used to write down my “big, hairy assed goals” I just felt like a fraud.

The voice in my head would laugh and  say, “what, YOU? Achieve THAT? Don’t be so stupid!”. And I believed her.

Until I learned one thing

I had to change my identity

Literally had to redefine myself. I had to DECIDED who I wanted to be rather than mould to my external influences and teachings. It changed everything because I changed.

Truth is, over 80% of the population fail/give up on their resolutions by the end of February. So don’t be too hard on yourself if that’s you.

But now it’s time to change

What I will encourage you to do though, is DECIDE, that you won’t let that happen again. Time passes so quickly, and I don’t want regrets to haunt you in old age.
