The Tampa Bay Lightning shocked us all as they made a flurry of trades of the weekend. The Bolts started things off as they traded away Mikhail Sergachev to the Utah Hockey Club. They Lightning would receive J.J. Moser, Conor Geekie, and a couple of draft picks. They were not done as they eventually traded away Tanner Jeannot by striking a deal with the Kings. The Lightning would cap off the weekend by sending a 2025 2nd round pick to the Hurricanes in exchange for the rights to Jake Guentzel. We recap all the moves, as well is how the Lightning will be able to juggle all the newfound cap space.
