"Seeing nutrition issues running rampant and now more than ever men, women and their kids are struggling with issues like low energy, chronic fatigue or if they do have energy they have to constantly snack or drink coffee to make it through the day…
Then there are other issues like being overweight and struggling to keep it off, poor gut health leading to issues like IBS and Crohn’s disease, Autoimmune issues, diabetes, poor sleep, chronic inflammation & mental health issues like anxiety and depression are now more common than ever before.
The crazy thing is even though all these issues seem so different and diverse they all stem back to poor nutrition as the root cause of the issue, this has now been proven through research into:
Nutrition and brain function
Nutrition and body composition
Nutrition and mental health
Nutrition and hormone health Insulin sensitivity & diabetes.
You see, by understanding the the importance of proper nutrition it allows us to have the ability to treat the cause of the problem rather than just looking for a bandaid solution that is slapped over the symptom…
This is why I created McKenzie’s Meats because I wanted to stop people from just treating symptoms and actually get to the root cause of their issues.
I was sick of seeing bandaids get put over these issues thinking everything is going to be okay when I knew people were just going to end up back in the same position.
I was sick of seeing people following mainstream nutritional advice or visiting doctors prescribing medications that were only ever giving them temporary results and more side effects that lead to other health issues further down the track.
I was sick of people getting sold the “magic” pill or supplement when deep down I knew there was no such thing as what most doctors and pharmaceutical companies try to tell you.
This is why I created McKenzie’s Meats and developed our system for ‘nutrient-dense eating’ with specifically chosen products that heal your body and mind by getting to the root cause of the issues, because we know there isn’t a magic pill or medication that cures everything.
It takes more than just adding a supplement to your daily routine to improve your nutrition, that’s why we have specifically chosen to stock products that are nutrient-dense and don’t contain anything harmful so you can actually get the results you want whilst taking out the guesswork so you can focus on feeling better without being lost or confused about what to do, or feeling helpless ever again wondering why you can never get on top of your frustrating health problems.
So if you’re ready to improve your nutrition for good, get your first box of McKenzie’s Meats today."

If you're a migraine sufferer, you don't want to miss this podcast!
Angela A Stanton, PhD has earned her doctorate in NeuroEconomics (experimental neuroscience using economic models) and is also fMRI certified.
Her research focused on understanding how human decision-making is influenced by hormonal and neurotransmitter changes. She ran many experiments and clinical trials, gaining an appreciation of the important roles neurons play in not only mental but also in physiological functions.
A lifelong migraine sufferer, in 2008 she took early retirement from her teaching position and has been an avid researcher in the field of migraines.
Her efforts of understanding the cause of migraines have been assisted by thousands of migraine sufferers around the world. In 2014 she published the first, and in 2017 the second edition of the book (Fighting The Migraine Epidemic: Complete Guide) that established her as a leader of the new field of migraine research, based on nutrition.
She now teaches migraine sufferers and medical doctors alike about how to abort and prevent migraines without the use of medicine.
She lives in sunny Southern California with her husband near her adult married children and grandchildren, where she never stops trying to inspire everyone—especially migraineurs—about the health benefits of healthy low- or no-carbohydrate way of eating, as well as the importance of staying active with mind and body.

Today in this chat, I quiz Dr Pete all about Low Carb and Gout. What's the deal? Can diet help?
Pete is a long time adventurer, and we also go in to dealing with fear when we talk about his cave diving experiences. Enjoy this great chat with this inspiring human. Dr. Pete Delannoy is a Ph.D biochemist with 28 years of teaching experience turned keto coach.
His journey started almost 3 years ago when he was diagnosed with prediabetes. He spent several months struggling with the medical establishment all the while watching his numbers getting worse. He found his way to the world of LCHF and the rest was history.
He started a coaching company, Ketonic Revolution, with his daughter Tanner to help people reverse diabetes, obesity, and cardiovascular disease and has never looked back. His approach to the reversal of chronic disease is by direct intervention, education, and by providing meaningful resources to his clients and the worldwide public.
Dr. Pete is a certified health coach with additional certifications through the Nutrition Network as well as a course author and designer and speaker/advocate for the LCHF lifestyle whenever and wherever he has the opportunity.

There is a long history of heart disease in her family, along with early cardiac death. Initially she didn’t know what to do about it. Surely the cardiologist knew what they were talking about? She even picked up the first prescription for statins. But never opened them.
While studying nutrition and exercise physiology Susan had come across conflicting information regarding cholesterol and heart disease and was aware of the controversy around statins, particularly the dangers for women using these drugs. Now she was in a position where her own health was at stake. She decided to do what she always does and hit the books. This ultimately lead down a pathway of studying nutritional biochemistry, with a special interest in understanding blood chemistry reports.
During this time Susan also discovered she has the APOE 4/4 gene. This gene is found in about .20% of the population and increases the risk for both Alzheimer’s and Heart Disease. Again, she hit the books to investigate the best way to manage this and whether nutritional recommendations for this vulnerable group should differ from other people without the gene.
Susan says “It is pretty scary when you learn these things about your body. It takes some getting your head around. But the human body is a remarkable machine and as much as possible it will work to keep you alive and as healthy as possible. There is a lot we can do to help it in this process.”
Susan is fascinated with how the body responds to exercise and diet and has spent over 30 years studying these topics. With heart disease still the number one killer, she loves to help people understand this better.
The reason that people with cholesterol levels (like her) die early from heart attacks, isn’t because of the cholesterol. In fact, once over the age of 65, the people with the highest cholesterol actually live the longest. They have far less cancers, infections and autoimmune disease. There are an increasing number of doctors, cardiologists, lipidologist and other experts from all around the world who have reviewed decades of research and concluded that cholesterol-heart disease hypothesis that we all grew up believing is a myth. It is taking a long time to dispel this myth – but it is slowly happening because the public are educating their doctors. Susan is specialises in helping people with high cholesterol, heart disease or diabetes understand what is going on, so they can make better decisions for their health. It is important to be able to understand what your blood tests are actually telling you so you can have fully informed discussions with your doctor or specialist.
Susan is passionate about her work and is able to break down the complex science in a way that is easy to understand.
