In the seventh episode of the M3 Bearcast, I speak with Kirklan Hawes of XL Tribe about how many big men have struggled to express themselves in their clothing because of the restrictive nature of retail for large men. We talk about how fashion is just an external manifestation of being your authentic self and how he found his calling in talking to large men who were dissatisfied with the state of clothing for big men. We also discussed the post that drew Kirk to speak with me about a man who felt traumatized by some of his encounters in the gay community when trying to meet people.

In the fifth episode of the M3 Bearcast, I speak with Lonnie Richardson about his self-love journey. Lonnie is a former contributor to M3 and an old friend. We've often argued about political issues when we were on opposite sides of an issue, but over time he's taught me to respect my friend's opinions even when I deeply disagree and believe those opinions to be harmful. He passionately defends his boundaries and rarely puts up with any violation of them. I realize now that his integrity may be why we butted heads so much and that I violated his boundaries in ways that I shouldn't have. He's documented his mental health journey on social media and he's allowed me to publish this candid conversation about self-love and relationships.

In the fourth episode of the M3 Bearcast, I speak with Ej Flavors and Jeffery Romam about Ej's near-death experience at the start of 2021. He talks about how he felt isolated in the hospital as he recovered and not being able to have visitors because of covid restrictions. His dance with death affected all the people in his life, close and at a distance, most of that time he was unaware of how his life affected so many people. He talks about his positive addiction to the gym, and how at a low point in his life it turned dangerous. Working out is his way of coping with stress and recognizing that taking it to an extreme nearly cost him his life. My conversation with Twan Wall aka Bergo Husky was an unexpected treat that came out of him promoting his latest music projects. His story is a testament to the principle of following your bliss and rest will follow. He's taken his love of music and made something incredibly unusual in popular music. A rapper who is part of the LGBT community who isn't a "gay rapper". We talked about his struggle with PTSD as a former Iraq War veteran, homelessness, and how following his passion has given him a mission to put all the people in his life who have helped him into his creative projects.
