We welcome Teaching Pastor Mike Breaux to the podcast. We dig in a bit in his personal life, challenges and struggles. Learning to listen and use the wisdom of the older generation for our own good, take notes, and the advise they give us to avoid hardships and shortcuts to success.

Mike not only has a great name; right?? Mike, Mike, Mike… just an awesome name! But Mike shared his 48+ year of marriage, how he purposed to his wife, his development and decision making he needed to do as a young man, to becoming a father, grandfather, currently witnessing graduating and first steps in his grandchildren. WOW!!

I felt so much love and peace in his talk, his words, the Holy Spirit is not only active and present but he’s love and compassion transmits.

Mike shared key elements to stay married in a world where divorce is used like second nature and no value given to it. Providing examples of of bible verses he actively lives his life on a daily basis, one of those being tattoo on him, but was his first and last due to the pain, hahaha!

I cried just editing this episode because its was an honor for me, a blessing to my heart! Thank you Mike!

Im very proud of you for opening up about your parents divorce, how that affected you, yet you didn’t allow that to define who you are. Yes you missed your dad your mom said some hurtful things, but your parents always tried there very best!! That’s the importance to understand both things are true, they are best up, hurtful nd damaging, but that are also, selfless, giving and sacrificial, both can be true.

We welcome Bridgette Martinez, a farmers insurance agent, who can help you in your insurance needs, but has a story of pain; that she turned to purpose.

Bridgette shares a story that is impactful, from being so young, getting married, not much family support emotionally, financially yes, but emotional connection is needed, so important. So many of us didn’t grow up hungry physically but did grow up hungry for love, for acceptance. We wanted to feel important or worth our parents time. Which like I said, we got their sacrifice, hard work but not emotional / feelings connected.

She shares the impact of seeking “Freedom” at a young age, but that quickly came with feeling lonely, controlled, manipulated and lost; definitely not free. She had her children(which she deeply loves), became a wife, mother, and employee but lacked self identity and love.

But know she feels a calling upon her life, shared after years of tribulations, heartbreaks, disappointments, she can see God’s hand upon her life, a calling to serve and give back to her community, to help those around her, and one way is by saving people on insurances, but more importantly, by connecting with her story, and helping others find themselves.

To begin this season, it was my honor to have the talented, hard worker and dedicated mother Tricia Halstead. She is an entrepreneur who has started her own law firm called “Lawyer UP” because we all know the importance of lawyering up in some of the most difficult times in our lives.

Tricia shares her passion to help others, to lead the lost thru legal counsel because some of those words, let’s be honest, WHAT?? Does it even mean???

Bug Tricia also shares the importance of self healing from with in. A effect example of asking the right questions and being sick and tired of being sick and tired.

We all think trauma must mean crazy, police, violence, or jail time, but trauma can simply be feeling un loved, a burden or not enough.

Tricia get personal, vulnerable and brave to share her current process and the death of her mom at such a young age. I felt God lead me to have an open heart discussion about Charlie Kirk.

I respect Charlie a lot, don’t need to agree with everything but his faith was something I admired.

He would share the gospel literately to the nations. Loving his neighbor by speaking truth right to their faces. (Again, didn’t necessarily agree with all his approaches) but that he shared love! That he spread unity! That he gave grace… I know he did, I seen, heard it.

Its not just Charlie death that matters, all deaths matter, which is why we cannot keep down this path! We had a movement happening; NOW we have a revival!! Violance is never the answer, but LOVE is! And nothing stops LOVE, its UNDEFEATED!!
