You can see there's that tower there which is – there we go – which is the tower that was in Hangover 2. Back at it, and how's that looking? Okay, cool.

"My girlfriend of over 4 years, fiancee of 7 months, left me a month ago." That sucks. "She's saying she wanted to go away and travel the world for a couple of years." They were engaged for 7 months, and then she wanted to go see the world. "This was after a few months of the relationship falling apart because we were both very stressed about our jobs. I didn't do anything about it until it was too late, but it seemed we were going to be okay just before she hit me with this."

I found a corner of bookshelves, so I'm ensconced amidst these bookshelves. Actually, I want to show you the hallway so you can see the main lounge. That's pretty cool. This is in my favorite mall in Bangkok, Central Embassy. You can see behind me, or that way, the main lounge. Pretty cool. All the way down is the bar, which is really fancy. A nice champagne bar. I like it here a lot. So we're here shooting a Man Up episode. I'm going to walk backwards back to that little bookshelf area. You can hear movies going off in the background. They have amazing seats. You get these beds with a mini bar next to your bed. Everything in the mini bar is free, included in your ticket. It's awesome. Literally, it's a bed full of pillows. Alright. This one comes from Justin. This is actually quite deep and a challenge for me is to get this done as quick as possible because I got to hit the gym, and then I got a set of client calls after that and I can't be late for those.

"So, I've been dating an awesome girl for the last seven months. She broke up with her ex just over a year ago. He cheated on her and was talking to multiple women during their relationship. They always fought and he drinks a lot. Now, I have fallen for this girl, but recently she had a conversation with me about her feelings. She said she still has feelings for him and can't seem to get over him. She also cares for me and has feelings for me, but right now she is lost and confused. She feels like it is almost a love triangle. We all live in the same town, and so she can't seem to escape reminders of him. She says one day she hates him, and another day she misses him. One day she wants to be with me, and the next day she doesn't want to be in a relationship."

And the nice backdrop. I think they're a bunch of embassies. It's kind of weird because you can look down into embassies. I don't know how secure this is, but I'm not exactly sure which embassies they are. There's some nice hotels around here. It's just a nice part of town, but the traffic at this time of day… Actually, it looks like it's moving alright. Unpredictable.

But anyway, I got a question here and this is coming from Sergeant. I'm going to try to summarize this.

"My girlfriend cheated on me with some guy I'm assuming she met at her job."

Okay, so a lot of the reason I chose this question is because I think a lot of guys can relate to it. I'm going to read about his venting and say that it's totally okay for him to do this. You shouldn't add onto it, your own guilt, for feeling the way you do. That's one of the biggest lessons, and then I'll give him the take away which is what he's asking for. "What do I do next?"

We're making it up with this shot here at the Palace. I got a question here from the Man Up private Facebook group, my voice is going now, and it's coming from Allen. Allen in the Man Up private Facebook group asked this relatively short question, so I'm going to read most of it.

"Hi everyone, I'm currently in a sort-of relationship with a woman with whom I have been in love with for 28 years." 28 years. "Somehow, we were never able to solidify a relationship. She did not speak English when I first met her. I did not speak any Spanish at that time. Somehow, we lost touch. She got married to someone else. I got married to someone else. We are both divorced now and going out. The problem is that she has extreme anxiety issues. She doesn't want to feel obligated or pressured in any way. Instead of communicating, she sometimes just shuts down and turns cold, so I have to be very careful. She said she loves me and does not want to lose me, and it is an amazing time when we are together. Her ex-husband was very controlling and abusive, both mentally and physically."

"Here's the situation my friend gave me. Suppose I like a girl and I just lose everything in my career, can I still date her at that moment?" His answer to his friend, "I tell her after losing everything in my career, I feel so shitty and I don't want to leave my house. Even though I like her, I don't want to date her right now. Of course, I do feel her as I do like her, but I value my career more and want to focus on it first, so no dating for me right now." Perfectly reasonable.

Hey, I'm David Tian, PhD., and for over the past 10 years, I have been helping hundreds of thousands of people in over 87 countries attain success, happiness and fulfillment in life and love. Here I am in a boat. I've been on the boat for a few hours already, and then we're like, "Dang, we're supposed to film a Man Up Episode." So I'm doing it, but just came out rough and ready for the boat. Excuse my appearance if I look a little bit haggard. Anyways, I got a question here from the Man Up private Facebook group.

By the way, you might've noticed that we are the only boat on this gorgeous placid lake. We're staying in that resort around the other end of the lake. That resort there. A beautiful resort. We keep hearing these cows. You probably can't hear it from my mic, but they're mooing in the background. I always wonder why cows moo. What are they trying to say when they moo? What makes a cow moo?

Anyway, a question from the Man Up private Facebook group. This one comes from Roger. [INAUDIBLE 00:01:15]. I don't know why I say that. It's a Lost in Translation reference. Okay:

"Thanks to what I've learned from David in both Limitless and Invincible, and I recently started a serious relationship with one of the most incredible girls I've ever met." That's awesome, man. "She's incredibly affectionate, values loyalty and honesty. She's compassionate, intelligent, and less importantly, drop-dead gorgeous." Alright, "As far as I can tell, she's also unusually mature for her age. We're both 20."

Welcome to Man Up Episode 209. I am outside Salzburg in Austria. I'm not going to try to pronounce the name of this actual place, but it is a beautiful resort that we're at. There's not much to say about it. I just got to show it.

We came out here to just check it out because we just checked in the resort, just checked out the lake, and I just couldn't wait to film. This is not the ideal filming time, but I just want to get this out of the way because I definitely want to make sure we got a video here with this beautiful backdrop. It's crazy because it's empty as well in the middle of summer. Another added bonus for this particular property, SPG Rock. Okay.

So I got a question here from the private Man Up Facebook group. If you're not in the group yet, join the group. This one comes from Mike. Once you hear it, it should be pretty straightforward, but I'm recording this partly for you to hear the question. This is a question that I get asked a lot, this sort of question. Okay, so Mike:

"Hey guys, I'm currently in a weird situation. I could definitely use some advice. So, I've been seeing this girl for almost two years now, and I absolutely love being with her. The only problem that we have is that we only see each other a few times a month, and the only reason that we see each other so infrequently is because she has a pretty busy schedule and she lives about 15 to 20 minutes from me." That's not very far, by the way, Mike. "But she seems to make all the time in the world for her friends whenever they want her to come out and spend time with them."
